I'm new to running, so I went to my local Road Runner and had them do all the foot measurements to help me choose my shoe. My pair was a "once worn" closeout in the San Diego clearance center and sold for $62. Fits perfectly, excellent toebox, comfortable. My feet are much cooler (mesh fabric really breathes well - I can feel the wind blowing in). A slight ankle pain I was having with some Nikes cleared right up with these. I'm 5'9" and 169 lbs. Very pleased.

I'm 5'8",165 lbs. The fit is outstanding; wide toe box and snug heel. Very supportive and midsole is firm. It needs more cushion.

I'm 5'9", 175 lbs, and log about 30 miles weekly.
I love the Axiom and I'll be inconsolable if Brooks discontinues this platform. I tried dozens of top models across brands and while the Axiom is available I will never run in anything else.
The Axiom 3 is a fantastic update which builds upon the previous model with noticably better cushioning. I got my first pair of Axiom 3's last week (my Axiom 2's had over 300 miles on them and were ready to be replaced). I took them out of the box, put them on my feet, and promptly logged 7 miles in them. No need for a break in. Light, stable, and cushioned.

Good cushioning; sufficient support. The tongue is way short however and the lacing configuration puts too much pressure on my instep which causes tendonitis. I've tried various lacing patterns and just cannot wear this shoe.

I love the Axiom 3! I am 5'9", 165 lb. with very low arches. Finding a lightweight, low arch shoe is a challenge. The Axiom 3 has it all: lightweight, great cushion, excellent toe-off, and good stability for over-pronators like me. Right out of the box I was able to run fast without thinking about my feet. My 3rd run with the Axiom 3 was a 4 miler which I had a PR of 23:35. I used to prefer New Balance because of my low arhes, but the Axiom 3 is a much softer and quicker shoe.

I loved the Axiom 2 and was disappointed when I found out it had been discontinued. After a week of running in the Axiom 3 I like this shoe even more. The shoe fits the same as the Axiom 2 but feels better with the extra cushioning.
