I was an Asics person for 5 years and I wanted a change. I liked the weight of the shoes but that's all. After 1 week of running in them I experienced pain in my knee (that I never had before). The shoe has very little cushioning. I wouldn't recommend them for long runs. Back to Asics!

I run in college, averaging 60-65 miles/week, and I have never had an injury. I love these shoes. I can put 800 miles on them and still be problem-free. I used to run in Adrenalines, but when I got tendonitis, I had my stride checked out, and it had changed since I started wearing Adrenalines. The tendonitis went away, even with increased mileage. It all depends on which shoe fits you and your stride the best. Don't say a shoe is bad just because it isn't the right one for you.

Disliked the shoe big time. Have been Asics runner for 15+ years, got talked into something new. Well, left calf injury followed by recent right calf injury have kept me relatively idle since November. Learned my lesson, back to Asics for me.

Really disliked the shoe. Wanted to try something new and first run went out and the shoes felt "clunky" which is the best word i got. It was really stiff. Turned my easy 7 miler into a painful 4 miler with a sore calf. I'm returning these for Adrenalines which in my opinion are MUCH better.

I bought these shoes in April and ran my first marathon in them in late June, and loved them them. Not the softest shoe but the feel fast. I run with the Kayano 14's as well but they feel clunky and overcushioned compared to these. I'm 160 lbs, amateur runner.

Got these from Brooks a few weeks ago and after putting 150 miles on them here is my review. GREAT forefoot cusioning but the heel is very stiff. Arch support is minimal. Ventilation is good. I say if you are under 200lbs and a forefoot striker you will love this shoe... anyone over 200lbs I would pass it up. Back to the Kayano's for me... sorry Brooks.
