    This a HUGE improvement over the original in terms of fit and comfort. The cushioning is great for a performance shoe. I'm generally not a fan of brooks, but this is a great shoe for neutral runners looking for a flexible, lightweight, do-everything shoe.

    I got these and only used them for about 60 miles and had too send them back... with rotation with 4 other pair of shoes.For me they were too narrow in the toebox and the upper is way too constrictive.Other than those two complaints its a pretty descent trainer if you don't have wider feet!

      I am 59 years old with somewhat narrow feet. These shoes fit nicely in the arch to heel area and have good room in the toebox. I run on roads and at a local track and these shoes have helped take a lot of pain from my knees and hips. I will get a second pair.

          I run about 5 miles a day with my other excercise. I just switched from Nike to Brooks as I was having huge shin splint and achilles issues. I am a forefoot runner as well and the Nikes sucked for impact protection. These Brooks offer excellent forefoot (whole foot actually) protection, best of all the shoes I have ever had and I have had multiple Nikes and Asics Kayanos. No comparison. Love these shoes

            This is a great shoe for all runs. I've competed in Half Ironmans, 5K, 10K and Half Marathons in these babies and they've have been amazing. Great shoe for tempo runs as well as going as long as 15 miles. First pair of Brooks and not going to be my last!
