I own several of these bottles... I can throw it in my bag upside down with no worries, it doesn't leak, and at the same time it's easy to use. The bite valve is so much better than anything else out there... and when I'm done, I just throw it in the dish washer... try it, you'll know why everyone loves it!

Hands-down the best water bottle i've ever owned. love the flip-up bite-valve that doesn't leak(a true camelbak), wide mouth opening so I can mix my sports drinks and inside straw
