I purchased this product for a marathon so I wouldn't have to use my hand held bottle, unfortunatly it arrived only 2 days befor the marathon so I was unable to do a long run with it. Since than I have used it on short and long runs, it holds enough water for my 20 mile run and is lightweight. I like the convience of it on my back, It is well made and durable. It has a pocket to hold several items, unfortunatly you have to stop your run to get to it. I like this product and it was very reasonably priced.

The Annadel pack is great for women runners-lots of storage, keeps water fresh and somewhat cold, and hassle-free drinking tube. The only issue I had was no directions came with it so set up (for a first timer) was somewhat tricky and cleaning was as well. But, once I got it together I was ready to go and enjoy my purchase. Overall-no regrets!

I'd tried Camelbaks before without a ton of luck (because I had trouble with the mouthpiece). These newer models are much easier to drink from and less prone to leakage. Plus, it allows me to safely secure my water to my shoulders when I'm running instead of around my hips which has caused me bruising in the past.

I started using this 3 weeks ago to train for a 1/2 marathon. I have a slight build so was concerned with the fit. The first day I ran with it, I did not notice it at all. I have used it both over long sleeves and over a sports bra and have had no discomfort. I also like that it has 2 pockets in the back for keys, gel, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was a really great product. It had a bunch of adjustable straps, felt really light and comfortable, and looked great. However, I would warn woman who are not petite to consider ordering the one for men. I run a lot but I'm 5'6" and my chest has always been broad. I had to have the straps all the way extended to make it buckle across my chest but it still didn't sit quite right. When I didn't have it buckled, it felt wonderful on my back - comfortable and lightweight. Great quality fabric.

I use this for my distance runs - 6 miles +. I tried a camelbak several years ago and wasn't comfortable with the fit. This one is designed for women and fits perfectly. It took the first run to get it adjusted and after that, I don't even notice it's there. I had been running with a fuel belt (the one with the 4 bottles) and my only challenge in making the switch is being able to tell how much water I have left.

I used to run with a fuel belt and it drove me crazy, now with the camelback I don't even notice its there and I can easily carry my phone keys and a few other extras when needed.

I am training for a marathon and this camelbak is GREAT! It is so great and easy to use when I have to run the long 10+ miles. It does not bounce, fits to your body and is so easy to use. It it is very light weight and always keeps me hydrated without stopping. I store my GU's in my shorts but if need be, there is a lot of storage area in the camelbak. A great buy for the money!

This was one of the best purchases I've made to help conquer my higher mileage long runs, especially during those hot summer days. The pack is well made and will last a very long time. I probably overpack on long runs but it's big enough to accomodate every thing I need (or feel I need) to take with me. The pack remains as non-cumbersome as it can probably be, despite everything I stow away in it. I was actually surprised at how well it fits with me as opposed to something that just fits "on" me.

I also find this easy to clean. I haven't used anything but water in this pack so I can't vouch for whether or not it staves off tastes and odors from flavored drinks. While I'm generally good about cleaning the bladder out after each run, I have been known to toss aside this pack in post-long run delirium -- err..runner's high?? -- and have forgotten about it for up to a week. But even after being neglected, I've noticed no slime or stale smell. The bladder is easy enough to wash out with soapy water, or a small amount of bleach if absolutely necessary. I invert the bladder as best as I can when washing and drying, and then I leave something inside to hold the bladder open for air circulation to dry out any residual moisture.

The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars is because it does shift around a little during each stride (which just can't be helped) and leaves rub marks where it makes contact with my running shirt in the back and also under the sternum strap. Fortunately, I wore an older shirt with this pack the first time I used it and I continue to wear that shirt each time I use this pack to avoid scuffing up more shirts. For me, that's a small price to pay for staying well prepared and well hydrated on my long runs.

I'm excited to use this pack for biking and hiking once marathon training ends for the season.

I purchased this pack for cycling as I'm training for a century ride and didn't want to carry 4 bottles on the bike. This is the first pack I've ever owned/used so I was unsure as to how comfortable it would feel while cycling. With a full resorvoir it's about 4lbs and I barely noticed it. It's breathable and comfy, the tube was comfortable to drink from as well. I don't use the x-tra pockets but will probably come in handy on race day for x-tra snacks, map, etc. My only con on this is cleaning, but I expect that's an issue with all hydro packs. You should only use this with water or the elixir flavored tabs which replenish electrolytes. All in all, I only carry 2 bottles on the bike and this pack and I did a 5.5 hr ride last week and only stopped after the 4 hr mark to replenish water in pack/bottles. I love it! And I can't wait to ride longer because of the convenience I now rarely have to stop! Quick tip, fill with ice before heading out and keeps your drink cooler longer.
