I bought this for a lightweight alternative to my hydration backpack for shorter runs of 1-2 hours in length. The pack is very comfortable when standing still, and the bottle is a nice design. However, the pack bounces like crazy when I run and the bottle flies up and out of the holder. I managed to decrease the bounce by tightening it to the point where it restricted my breathing. This design could have been improved by having a small strap across the top of the bottle holder that would keep the bottle in place, or having the bottle holder be less slippery plastic. It's a shame because it feels good, as long as you are not moving.

I bought this pack as a small alternative to a hydration backpack for runs up to 2 hours in length. I am 5'10", 165 lbs, of what I think as "normal" athletic shape. I spend the majority of my run playing with this pack to get it to fit right. It really bounces like crazy and the water bottle kept sliding up and out. The only time it stopped bouncing was when I pulled it so tight that I had difficulty breathing. I really tried many different positions- lower on the waste, at the hips, above hips in lumbar area, high across my stomach- nothing worked. It's either way too bouncy or needs to be tightened to the point that it's restrictive. I would have even lived with the bouncing if there was some better way to secure the bottle in place, like a strap across the top, but that doesn't exist. It's a shame because I like the bottle and the pack is comfortable while walking, but I would never recommmend for running.

I was not impressed with this belt, it rode up a lot and bounced when I ran. The weight of the belt it not distributed evenly, it is just in the back where the water bottle is so it rubs a lot and feels heavy. It slowed my running time

Bought this to hold my water bottle while running. It does work, but bounces more than I would like and is pretty hard to adjust. Also, tends to rotate on my waist more than I would like.
