This CEP ankle brace is comfortable, and it does seem to help with my ankle pain (more on that below). I made sure to size it correctly, but when I first got it I expected it to feel a little more snug. However, it does seem to help, so I'm not complaining. Occasionally I do notice the seem at the bottom front edge of the brace, but it hasn't caused any blisters or irritation even during long runs. So far I've only tried it up to 16 miles because I'm just starting to ramp back up. My only other minor complaint is the pink rubber logo. Most people only noticed I was wearing the brace after noticing the pink logo, so I removed it. I have been dealing with ankle pain located on and around the medial malleolus (ankle bone on the inside of the leg). My doctor thought it was just some tight tendons, and not a stress fracture. He did two sessions of Active Release Technique (ART), prescribed some stretches and strengthening exercises, and suggested I wear compression socks during the day and a night splint while I sleep. I showed him this brace and he thought it would be a good alternative to wearing the compression socks. I only take it off to sleep and shower. I know there are a lot of factors to my recovery, but I do feel like wearing the brace is a big part of why I haven't had to miss a single day of running while recovering.
