      Bought these for my husband. He is not a runner but he has vericose veins in his legs and was suffering from adema in his ankles and feet. Works in construction, up and down on ladders and concrete floors all day. The socks have helped with the adema and improved circulation in his feet. I had bought the CW-X brand - a clearance color on sale trying to save a few bucks. They are OK but these CEP socks are BETTER. A little taller, stay up all day and did not show wear and pills on the feet after being in his work boots. He likes them much better than the CW-X. Worth every penny if they help his legs and feet!! I might have to borrow them after a long run!!

          CEP makes great stuff - this manufacturer helped launch compression in the triathlon market with another brand, then went out on it's own.
          The sock and sleeve seem to help with cramping and leg fatigue by pushing the venous blood back to your heart quicker - I see more leg sleeves training on trails now as well, so it's not just for races or tri-babies! CEP medical grade is a higher compression than the lower priced brands - lasts long, washes well, and wicks moisture.
