I bought it about 5 years ago, and it works fine to many, I have no complains about it, I have changed the battery only in a department store and the chest band is still working, the difference I see, it price, I bought it in 60 dollars and now see the price over 100, I can not believe it

The watch works fine for about 12 - 18 months then the battery dies. If you change the battery yourself it won't work again. The manual says to return it to a service center to have the $5 battery changed with an estimated cost of up to $75. Since the strap dies after 12 months or so might as well buy a new one.

The product just simply is unreliable. The strap quit working after five months, and watch/monitor froze up on me last Friday. Customer service for Polar...forget it> a web site and an overseas number. No Receipt, no recourse. No worth it, go elsewhere.

Love it. Use it daily. Very basic. Like how it's not super big on the screen so it's a feminine watch, even in black.

I own a 625X, and I bought this for my wife. For the price tag, it doesn't do as much as the website leads you to believe. Only 1 heart zone, records only time in zone, NO polar ownindex test, very limited information uploaded to the polar website. If polar would offer its higher end models in designs like this (for ladies that like feminine design) I would certainly have paid more, but I feel that this watch gave me little more than the $20 cornerstore generic HRM. Without an ownindex, you can't even design fitness programs on the Polar website! The good: coded HRM is nice, and the sonic uplink/downlink works well, but the limited information barely makes having the uplink worth it. Come on polar, for $99 you can give a bit more than that.
