Beautiful device, does hing it's suppose to. Only problem.......my two year old Lab ate it. Now back to RRS for a new one.

I've been running with the Polar RS100 since May 2005 and like it very much. Sometimes the watch takes a bit of time to sync up with the transmitter (the strap that you wear on your chest).
Also, sometimes the heart rate displayed is much higher than my actual heart rate.
The unit only records one run or exercise period, so make sure you write down any info, because next time you hit the start button, the previous times are gone -- also a problem, if you mistakenly hit the wrong button during a run (which I did). I bought this before the RS200 came out and for that reason alone wish I had waited, but all in all it's a great HR monitor.

I've had this monitor for over a year. It's great no complaints. Everything works as it should day in and day out.
