Good piece of gear. Footpod is accurate on level terrain, accuracy falls off in uneven terrain (as you would expect with a pedometer). I too have to clean the contacts on the HRM prior to every use in order for it to funtion properly. Solid beginner to intermediate HRM/Distance bundle.
