Take one cliff shot every three miles or so. The black cherry tastes great and has the most caffeine boost. Just wish Cliff Shots made other flavors with the full caffeine punch.

I cut a pack in half. it makes it easier to pop one out and on an 8 mile run 1/2 pack is all I need. On the longer runs it is nice to have the 2 or more compact dispensing sections. I look forward to eating them as they taste good also. Makes it easier to remember.

Love the Black Cherry flavor. It has gotten me through 2 marathons and 3 half marathons. My husband was having cramping issues with our long runs so we bought him the Margarita flavor with the extra sodium and he noticed a difference quickly. They fit snuggly into my race belt loops and have never given me stomach issues. I take them with water though to help go down easier.These are a great value at Road Runner Sports b/c they are [$] per package as a VIP as opposed to [$] per package plus tax at my local sporting goods store.

I've tried many energy products: sport beans, powerbar chew, gu, even the CLIF gels, etc, and this is hands-down my choice over all of them! I'm one of those people that can't eat anything within 1-2 of a workout/run- i'll get an upset stomach. However, with the shot blocks i don't have to worry about that. They are easy to chew, digest, and are tasty without the overwhelming flavor that you tend to get with other products making you gag. The first time I used these was during mile 8 of a 12 mile ruck march. They gave me the right amount of energy to push myself to finish the last three miles (I don't get the same effects with other gels or blocks)

I love these! The strawberry flavor is seriously good, and the texture is so much better than gross gooey gels.

LOVE these! Just ran my first half marathon...took the Margarita flavor with extra sodium. They saved the day -- started cramping a little, and these gave me the boost I needed to push through. So glad I had them with me. I cut the package in half with a knife, so I could just push one out as needed; worked great! Will be buying more.

I know some don't like the packaging b/c it can be challenging to take. But as a runner, I love the packaging. I have my race belt with loops for gels/etc and I can put my Shot Bloks in before a race and they keep me going.I have tried the Cran-Razz and black cherry.

I have tried gels, but can't get over the sliding down my throat thing. I take a couple of Bloks ever 2-3 miles with water.

I use shot blocks after about an hour of running. They are great to give you a quick burst of energy. Don't take too many at once otherwise it may cause tummy troubles. I eat two shot blocks at a time with water every 30 minutes. I buy a box and share them with all my running friends. Everyone seems to really like them.

I use this product on my morning runs when we are going 6 miles or more. They re-fuel you and give you that extra energy to make it to the end. Taste great and are easy to eat.

I love these little blocks. They taste great and the caff. gives you a nice boost in the middle of long runs. I would usually eat 3 blocks before a run and 3 in the middle. This is my third box and I plan on getting more.
