This is the perfect gel to take during long runs or long bike rides. It's consistency is thicker than powergel but not as thick as gu. It's right in between and the apple cinnamon flavor is great. It doesn't give me a stomach ache the way the powergels sometimes do. I definitely recommend them. I don't take gels too often because I would rather have some apple sauce or a handful of raisons but they're not as easy to carry around.

I love this product, especially the Apple flavor. It tastes like apple pie! I first used it running the Shamrock Marathon in VA Beach later in my run (volunteers were handing it out on the course) and it gave me an extra boost of energy. I recommend taking it before and during a run...I liked it so much when I got home from my race, I ordered a box of 24!

I love the real fruit taste. Unfortunatly no one in my town carries it anymore (and in fact told me they thought it was no longer being made), but thankfully I found it online. No other gels compare in taste to me and the energy boost is equal to the rest.

Although the gel seems thick and hard to swallow, take it near a water station and it's so worth it for energy to push thru the final few miles

I think the RRS Speed Gel is the old Variety of Carb BOOM. the Packaging is even the same but with a different logo. In fact, the item description is practically identical

Love it. Came back to buy the variety pack again and it's no longer being carried. None of the other gels compare in taste, easy of swallowing or digestion. Please bring back the other flavors.

Definitely easy to swallow, not thick like Gu, taste like real fruit! Use it for my long distance runs and it lets me sustain longer than any other gel. Apple Cinnamon is the best by far!

Best gu I have tasted!. These do not require alot of water to wash down. All flavors are good but my favorite is Stawberry Kiwi with Apple Cinnamon being a very close second. This is a good price too.
