Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I run races from 5Ks to marathons. A friend turned me onto the CW-X running tights last year and I bought them in every weight. I have big thighs and I didn't like the 5" shorts (not flattering) but I love this 10" length. The mesh panels keep me cool which is good because I sweat like a 300 lb truck driver w/no air conditioning in his cab in July.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I like a lot of support during running, and have used CW-X Stablyx tights when it's cold. The support in their products comes both from the elasticity and compression of the primary fabric and from re-enforcing bands over certain areas that need more support. I wanted longer shorts, but not capri length. This length is hard to find. The length of these is just right, as they are just above the knee area, but they also cover all the muscles of the thigh, which I find more comfortable and supportive than ending mid-quad. This garment provides adequate IT band support, but the support across the butt is not great. The posterior support is across the top of the buttocks, rather than underneath, holding the mass down rather than holding it up against impact. Seems to me that area should be supported to prevent sag in the same way a bra supports the bosom: from underneath. There is also not much circumferential support of the quads and hamstrings, as these shorts do not have much in the way of re-enforcing fabric that wraps around. The ventilating panel is more stretchy than the primary fabric, so the lower front of the quad is unsupported. The shorts seem true to size and I would have expected them to be comfortable based on how they felt. I did not keep the shorts because they did not offer me enough support of muscle groups.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: The shorts appeared to be really small...but the fit was great. They stretched and fit very comfortably. Although the fabric is heavy, I stilled stayed cool. The compression seemed to work well on my aching, stressed out hips. I will use on my long run days.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I've started using these for my longer runs now that the weather is warmer, and they are comfortable and supportive. A true compression fit so they feel snug going on, but are breathable and and suitable for any length run. They're also a little longer for more coverage and don't ride up or shift, even on lengthy runs. I've had great luck with the durability of CW-X products in the past and these look to be no exception.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: On size selection: I'm 5'2" and based on size chart, I would be in between the xs and sm...I chose to go down in size and the fit is good.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: Love these shorts! Purchased for my long runs in hot weather. I have 3/4 and full length from them too. Chose my size based on the CW-X chart and it fits as expected. I have worn for two long runs (over 20 miles) already and only experienced slight chaffing at medial aspect of my left leg, just above my knee on both runs. I am still trouble-shooting that issue. Otherwise, they provide excellent support and help my legs feel strong to the end!

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: Bought them for compression on hip and IT band. Felt great. Even felt "cool" in warm CA temps. Only drawback is my running belt kept riding up with the material of the shorts... But that would be true for any non cotton type material.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: Needed the extra support now that I am older and heavier which helps to prevent overuse injuries.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I just started training for a half marathon so was looking for new gear to help in the humidity and heat. When I received these shorts, I was concerned they looked and felt like Spanx-- didn't think they could possibly be comfortable in 85 degree weather. Ran 8 miles and loved them! Great support of very cooling. Ready to buy a 2nd pair

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I bought these shorts to help me train for fast hiking the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim in two days. I wanted them to be very supportive and had to take into consideration the extreme heat we may encounter, so I was particularly pleased to see the mesh fronts for breathability. They are wonderful! I hike with them for hours and they keep my legs fresh. They also feel very supportive on my low back which has had issues in the past carrying a pack. The only (and I mean only!)issue comes as a result of the thin material. It keeps you cooler, but it also got a hole in it within two months. Otherwise, I fully recommend these shorts!

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: Wow - I had to write a review, b/c I wore these today in 90 degree heat doing 1/4 mile repeats and they were FANTASTIC. First time ever wearing compression anything and I fell in love with these today. Not only do the look great on - they're cool, believe it or not. I bought them b/c I've been feeling some buildup in my quads lately and today...I didn't feel it - I just felt great. And seriously - they look phenomenal ON. I told everyone to go get a pair. Well worth it. I need more now. :))

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: I started wearing the CW-X Stabilyx tights about a year ago. I have them in a variety of lengths and weights. These are great for warm weather. I really like the longer length. Shorter length tights cut in on my thighs and are uncomfortable. The length of these are just right, falling right above the knee. The mesh panel works well to keep me cool in warm weather.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: These were my first pair of compression shorts and I bought a second pair as soon as I ran in them once. My quads and hamstrings felt wonderful until the end of the entire 7 miles (my usual length of run). They are nice and snug without binding or slipping. I am 5'9" and 140ish lbs and the med fit great. Definitely worth the price if you tend to push it a bit on your runs and sometimes wear out your legs.

Comments about Womens CW-X Stabilyx Ventilator Fitted Shorts: These shorts are wonderful! I can not say enough about the cw-x brand. I own almost every style they make. I wore the pro tights in the winter (trained and ran a marathon in them), the pro capris this spring and start of summer. They were a little too warm on the 90+ degree days, so I ordered these shorts. I am so glad I did! They give me the support I want, but are cool enough to run in the brutal heat of the day. I was experiencing some hip pains before I started running in the cw-x tights. I have not had any problems since. They are definitely worth the price (much cheaper than physical therapy)
