These are well worth the price here at RRS. I purchased first pair at a local store just to be able to try them on and get advice. I have a one pair of the knee length shorts and one pair of this capri. I absolutely love them ~ never go on a long run without wearing them. I gave 4 stars only because I am 5'3" ish and the placement of the knee support is a little long for me but I work it. I am 44 and have lost 50 pounds via diet and running and the support these pants offer is awesome. Don't hesitate invest in yourself!

I use these for running and skiing.

I was debating between size XS and S and decided on XS. When I got these I thought there was NO way I was fitting into them; they looked like they'd fit a 12 year old. Surprisingly, they did fit and they made my legs and butt look good! Putting them on requires effort. You have to situate the knees first and then slowly pull them up. Make no mistake about it, these capri's are tight. Nothing giggles, which for me is awesome and is the reason I buy compression pants/capri's. I will say that you can "feel" the seems on these which is a bit weird. I would recommend them and buy another pair.

I bought these for stability/support for running, especially for my knees. they provide very firm support, but i recommend going one size up, it was almost hard to breath they were so tight...but i'd still recommend them to someone looking for firm control

As a 43 year old runner with torn cartilage and ligaments in both knees, I frequently find that my knees ache after long runs. With these pants, my knees feel 80% better after even long runs of 12 miles. I always wear these for long runs now and have invested in a second pair.

These tights are great. At the time I am posting this review, 83% of other reviewers indicated this capri tight ran small. These are a true compression tight and the fit should be snug, but not uncomfortable. I'd recommend looking at CW-X's sizing chart, rather than the one that RoadRunner includes on this site. CW-X's sizing chart is a grid that increases by 1 inch height increments and 5 pound weight increments (similar to the sizing chart for most stockings/pantyhose). At 5'6" and 138 lbs, I fall in the "grey area" and chose to size up to a medium, as my upper body is slimmer than my lower. They fit great. RRS - please do all of your shoppers a favor and replace your sizing chart with CW-Xs for this product!!! I have large calves and these capris stay put at the bottom, rather than riding up and bunching at the knees like most other capris do. I bought my first pair a few months ago and am asking for another for Christmas.

I bought these for a 9 mile race but waited so long to order them that I did not get a chance to try them before the race. I was worried about this but from the positive reviews I had read, I was hoping I would be OK. I never thought about the tights the entire race so I would say they are prefect. The compression helped at the end since I am not used to running this distance.
I am 5'6" and 125-130lbs and the small size fit well.
You will not regret spending the money on these and I plan on buying the full length for this winter.

I purchased an xs. After getting them on, which is a challenge the first time, they felt snug everywhere but almost pinching, in the back of the knees. I just wasn't sure if they would be uncomfortable while running. So exchaged them for a small, which were just slightly bigger. After wearing them many times I do think I should have kept the xs, as the proportion was better for the alignment of the knees for support. I think they loosen slightly while wearing as well. I will definitly buy another pair, but this time in an xs. I am 5 ft 1, and 112 lbs. I guess it would be nice if they came in a petite length due to proper knee alignment. I can run longer distances without knee pain, and also amazing compresssion through the thighs and rear!

I love my CW-X tights! They make every one's butt look great!! Many of the ladies that I ran with - all purchased them - we are all seasoned runners. They all raved about theirs and I really wanted a pair.

The one comment I kept hearing was "they fit very snug." When I compared my size/height/weight to the chart, I was closer to the XS, but ordered the S. I used to be bigger (size M) before I started running and I think that I haven't quite wrapped it around my head that I am now tiny! An XS would have provided me with more support in the specific targeted areas.

These are my favorite tights, I won't bother with the other brands. I'll have to get a pair of shorts next.

Based on all the recommendations, I bought these and I really like them. I think they are a little big for me; I am 5'4", 135 pounds, and I bought size Medium. They are too long rather than too tight. I think if I had gone down a size they would be too snug. I wish they were a little shorter, but I manage.

I really like the snug fit, and although I can't comment on whether they help my legs feel better or not, I like the way they feel when I'm running. Actually, I guess I should say I like the way I don't feel them at all when I'm running, they seem to disappear, but I really appreciate the exceptional support.

I needed some compression tights for running that wouldn't get baggy and slide down. These are perfect! I'm 5'9", 157 lbs. and I ordered medium. They are nice and snug. No sliding at all! I live in CT so they are perfect for fall, winter, spring runs outside. Worth every penny...especially if you get them on sale.

I wondered after these arrived and I put them on, why I waited so long to buy a pair of CWX Compression wear. I mean after running for nearly 30 years where have I been? The fit is comfortable and firming. Love the support. So impressed with my first pair, that I bought a pair of tights, shorts, two pair of compression leg sleeves and arm sleeves. I followed the size recommended and the items fit perfect. Happy running..........:)

Every time I put these on, I feel like a 10 lb. sausage in a 5 lb. casing. Seriously. CW-X compression tights are simply old-fashioned girdles re-packaged in better looking fabric. But do they work... YES, and you get to look a little thinner! I don't like to run in them because they are tight around my knees and I don't need that. I don't have any injuries. Their best use for me is marathon recovery. I put them on after a race and keep them on for hours, and sometimes again the whole next day. My legs get better so much faster when I do that, it's amazing.
Do these CW-X do their job? Yes. Is the craftsmanship worth the price? Yes. Personally, I think compression tights are unattractive, so I wear a skirt over them.

I was having knees problems for a while and went to see an acupuncturist, and was told I had "energy block" due to long term and ignored injury. After two months off from running, I decided it's time to let go my shorts and get a 3/4 or full length tight to keep legs warm during winter run. I have Sugoi capri but they don't "hold" me tight enough, and after some research online I decided to give CWX a try. After the first run in this at 6:00am in Nov, I love this immediately. They hold my muscle and knees well and at the same time I can move freely. Much better support than regular tights!! My legs feel strong in them, so I am thinking to get another pair.

I was hesitant to spend the extra money as there are other compression tights advertised for less. But, as a year-round athlete, training and competing in triathlons I always seem to have aches, pains and sore muscles so I sprung for the CW-X capri tights. Glad I did! The tights are suppportive without being restrictive, warm on those days too cool for shorts and after a long run muscles stay warm and relaxed. I plan on ordering these for a gift for my daughter immediately!

After getting the CW-X shorts, I decided to go for the 3/4 capris, I only wish I had gotten them sooner! They support my (injured) hamstring perfectly, such that it does not bother me at all while I am running, even on my longer runs.

I bought the CW-X 3/4 length Stabilyx capri tights after hearing my fellow running friends rave about them. They are incredible! You feel as though you can run miles and miles and at the speed of light. Well, maybe not that fast, but I am definitely looking forward to wearing them in my next race!

These are great. I immediately noticed a difference in my long runs, since this is the first pair of compression tights I've bought. In hindsight I think I should have bought a size smaller--so follow the size chart.

Although I was skeptic about the advantages of compression wear, now I'm a believer. I really notice a difference on the second day of back-to-back hard training days. I am a trail runner and also feel an advantage, having the extra support around my knees, especially on rough downhills. The seam at the crotch/thigh junction was irritating, on very long runs (18+ miles), but I was able to carefully trim it, which helped. These tights are well worth the investment!

They're compression tights, so yes they are tight. They are still very comfortable and supportive. If you're unsure of your size, order the larger size--I'm a small to medium and the medium fit nice and snug.
