A major design flaw is the large rigid raised seam that runs through the mid-line of these tights. It starts to chaff miserably after about five miles even if you are wearing a brief.

Bought a pair recently - insulator tights - to help stay warm during winter runs plus wanted to try the stability feature. They are wonderful - legs are much fresher after long runs and when running the 50% recovery run the day following your long run, there is a marked difference in how much better your legs feel. Expensive yes, but if you are prepping for a future long race and pounding a lot of miles, these are a must have.

Great sale and discount Price, Bought two. Used it 1st time today. Felt Great. The size chart put me at the end of a "L", glad I went with "XL", since I'm not a slender body. I could feel the extra support during my 70 minute bike ride and 45 minutes in the weight room. We'll see how it jogs tomorrow. Thanks for the sale - or I couldnt afford it.

Love them. Feels substantial and reinforcing, though not so tight that it cuts off circulation or breathing. Looks nice too. You could spend $30 less for a pair of tights but you're getting what you pay for here.

Have bought the other CW-X tights directly from manufacturer. Great support. Helps knee pain, shin splints, and back pain. This pair is not as silky and smooth as an older model I got from manufacturer. However they are thicker with more compression, so I guess that's the trade off.

I really like these despite being in between sizes. I have short legs but the smaller size is too tight so I had to go with the larger size which I have to keep adjusting. But I do feel very supported when I run. My knee has been giving me problems lately so I took a shot at these because of the support. I did feel supported so I am happy about that. These are not insulated, but it was about 29 degrees when I went out this morning and once I started, these kept my legs (and the boys) warm with no problems. I would definately recommend these tights to anyone looking for support especially around the knees and midsection.

I bought these last spring. I had owned one of their earlier models and these felt much better. The knee area has more support and the support around the waist really helps my posture especially when I get tired. I'd give them a 5 except that they don't make any with red trim which is my favorite color.

Incredible support. My legs felt great the next day after a long speed workout as well as a day after a long run. I am skeptical of products like this but wanted to try them. They work. The key is recovery and these aided in my recover after hard runs. Buy them!!! They rock. Not gimmicky!!!
