I get tired of the really sweet drinks. This one is sweet, but not too sweet. I feel I do recover better with the added protein.

I typically us this right after a hard run or lift. It definitely provides an extra boost to my recovery and I feel so much better than when I drink a powerade or even worse gatorade. It has actually replaced my long run substance drink too! I love lemon lime, but I do wish they have a few more flavors.

Like many of you, we go through a lot of sports drinks. I decided to order this because it was cost effective and included some protein. I wanted to see if that helped. No one in the household noticed a benefit, but we did notice the unusual taste, after-taste, and globby mixing (as compared to Cytomax, G2, Heed). At this point, I'm the only one willing to make the sacrifice of drinking it.

I have read much on drinks during long runs. This is the best I've found. I really think thebit of protein makes a difference. My only complaint is that I would like to have the larger container come in lemon lime.

I love that this is tasty and easy to use quickly after mixed. Not too sweet and not bland.

I drink this before I run. It seems like my endurance has improved because before I used this product I would fade badly after 3 or 4 miles. Now I run up to 9 and am able to pick up speed in the last mile. I might add that I am 63 years old and didn't run that much since my 30s.

After researching numerous Electrolyte products, I came across Accelerade.

I was worried, as this was for my 12 year old daughter, and she is an incredibly picky eater! She had already frowned on other products.

After she tried it, she said..."Wow, this tastes really good!"

Since then, she takes this before and after all of her practices and runs.

She is recovering faster, and this is the only product in this category that she will drink!

I go for protein in my drinks seems to help with recovery, this has a small amount.
I used to drink R4 diluted before they came out with Accelerade. I see this at more races also which is a good thing.
