This 2nd Surge gel is the real deal!
I took the gel 1hour into a 1hr 45min training run on the weekend. Even without water to wash this through I found the taste and consistency perfect. It gave me a real surge over the last 45 mins, I could have gone further for sure.

This was a good 20% longer training run than I have been doing & I felt strong over the last 10 minutes.

I am really looking forward to my half marathon in 2 weeks time armed with 2nd Surge Chocolate caffeine gel. Thanks to PacificHealth Labs.

Have run five half marathons using these gels. Finished all four strong and happy. Three previous halfs were finished, but they were struggles. My favorite use for these is in endurance running, though I have used them as a pick me up after work to motivate me to squeeze that workout in. My recovery time is a few days rather than the week I had been experiencing. Some of this is due to training, but I firmly believe these gels deliver exactly what is needed for endurance if taken approptiately. That is, train for exhaustion. Once you muscles have become accustom to using glycogen stores, these gels become appropriate.

I love this gel because it goes down so easy, it is almost like Chocolate Hershey's Syrup, not thick & disgusting, it doesn't make me want to gag.

this stuff is GREAT easy on the stomach and really gives you what you need to finish strong, now they need to make it also w/o caffeine

I use these gels mostly for distance running and they fit the bill. They allow me to remain active longer, give me a boost when I need it, and aid in recovery. I use the Double Espresso ones and really enjoy the taste. The thing I like most about this product are the ingredients. They are the purest I have found in any energy gel. That combined with the caffeine, carbs, and a smidge of protein are just what my body needs. After trying a number of disgusting tasting gels, these are a clear winner.

2nd Surge lives up to its name. During my hill run it gave me the added boost I like to keep me going strong. The chocolate is delicious and has 100 mg caffeine.
