I bought this product so that I would be visible to cars when I run at night and hopefully to help illuminate my path. It certainly helps cars to see me, but does not illuminate anything. It is easy to wear and use.

I purchased two of these and generally wear one around my bicep on early morning/evening runs with a Nathan Streak Vest. It's a great idea. The LEDs are bright and have two settings - blinking and solid. But there are noticeable flaws, particularly regarding the battery. The battery is velcroed on the inside. The battery cap comes off way too easily (I already lost one). On my first run with one of these, the battery came out of the velcro and was dangling by it's attached wires. When it's below freezing, the last thing I want to do is stop in the middle of a run, take off my gloves and adjust something. A good product with safety in mind. Just comes with minor irritations.

These are amazing. I have two of them attached together and my dog wears them(in addition to his regulat sturdy collar) so that he can be seen in the dark - they blink and they are reflective too so he becomes a super visible black dog.

I bought two (only one per package, which I didn't pay attention to when I bought the first). They were manufactured differently even though the packaging was the same. One has a more awkward on/off switch, but works well still. The other turns itself off frequently. I wear them when walking the dog in the late evening and the reflective aspect is still good.

(Note: I had free ones from a night-time 5k about a year ago that lasted okay, but the wiring to the LEDs wore out quickly in them as well.)

This is the 2nd light band we've purchased. My husband an I exercise in the wee hours of the morning in the lower FL Keys. It's sunny, hot and humid in the summer. These bands allow the local charter and commercial fishing Captains to not confuse us with the roadside puddles.

It's effective in helping to be seen by. In Minnesota I do a lot of my running when it's dark, especially in the winter. But the light is not very durable (also not very expensive). I agree with the comments posted by JSP of Seattle. The flexing involved in putting the band on and taking it off cause the leads from the battery to the lights to break over time. I also got 2 years out of my first one.

I LOVE how bright the red lights are. This is easily visible from quite a distance. It's not as comfortable as a similar lighted arm band that I got from Nite Beams, and doesn't seem to come in a variety of colors (both the strap & the lights) like Nite Beams do, but these lights are SO bright & it seems to be more water resistant/water proof than the Nite Beams bands are.

My son and I run in a cloudy rainy environment daily during the Winter along a norrow road. Drivers can see us from quite the distance with this product. It keeps us much safer.

This is a unique product and very useful. It is the only safety light I have found that does not bounce around as I run. The battery life is very good. My only complaint is that it is not very durable. The first one I bought broke in less than two years. Overtime, flexing the band causes the solder on the LEDs to break and the device to stop funtioning. Fortunately at this price, replacing it every two years is not very painful.

This is easy to use and is very visible. You can change the lights from a blinking to a steady state. The band itself is also reflective. Very good for keeping me visible in winter evenings.

After purchasing this armband, I don't run at night without it. In fact, I bought another one for my other arm. The reflective gear is great but you don't always want to wait until the headlights hit you before you become visible.

Great for evening/ early morning runs. Can be seen from a long distance. I run on busy country roads often at night, dusk, or dawn and this provides the traffic a lot better visibilility of me.

I needed something to make me more visible on my pre-sunrise road runs. This product does the job and is barely noticeable on my arm. Once I got the size adjusted right, I just slide it on and off of my arm, since it has elastic to allow for stretching of the band. I wear it high on my arm over my shirt sleeve. I haven't tried it on a bare arm yet, I don't think it would be that comfortable.

I run early in the mornings in a rural area, the neighbors say they can see me far away. Really didn't like it around my arm, so I wear it around my ankle. It works perfect. I've gotten all my running buddies buying one. :-)

The band is good for visiblity but the attachment is awkward. Should have just made it a velcro closure. Also, the battery could be more secure. Good for the price.
