I returned this product. It would work well for someone looking for a light foot massage. But, I was looking for soemthing that would get deeper inot the arch of my foot and help break up knots and reduce tension.

This foot log fits perfectly in the arch of my foot. It rolls well on carpet, doesn't collect cat hair, and feels great on my feet! I had to laugh when I saw it came with a 60 page instruction manual, but turns out the manual is an overall intro to your feet with explanations of various ailments which has been great reading. No real downsides to the foot log so far and I've used it multiple times - it really hits the spot.

I like the product. This will be the third one I've ordered over the years. I wish the interior plastic tube was a thicker diameter. The individual sleeves seperate in time as the adhesive for the end caps eventually give way.

I have been running 32 years and have not found anything as helpful as this. I have heel pain and tried golf balls and tennis balls that slip and roll away. Frozen water bottles slip and can't roll hard enough. Foot log is sturdy and does not roll away. You can control it. I keep it on the floor and use every chance I get. Makes your feet feel good and heel has not hurt since I purchased it. Bought one for a friend who loves it as well.

I use the Foot Log to improve circulation in my feet, and my husband has virtually cured his plantar fasciitis with this device! It's easy to use, and results are instantaneous! We are both avid runners and road bike riders. I am convinced we would not be able to perform at all if we didn't use the Foot Log. I like it so much, I have given it to several friends for various foot ailments ... and all have seen miraculous results!

I bought this to roll out my feet daily because I'm training for a marathon and am going for injury prevention. I use it on my carpet while watching TV, so it's easy to use and you can apply whatever extent of pressure you want/need. Will not work on other body parts (as stated in the instructions).
