Works great...I've had it for about 3 weeks and no complains from me. If you look for road runner sports coupons online you can score one for cheap. I paid $267! Well worth it for that price!

Great GPS in a small package. Don't get all the gripes here. If the bezel is going "crazy" all you have to do is push the two buttone simultaneously and the bezel will lock. Also, the battery works fine... just charge it and look at the "Battery Life" % before you run and you'll be fine. Garmin ...

Well I've owned mine for about a month now and loved it at first. But I'm in the military and need a watch that can stand up to that. First off the battery indicator has never worked, the back button broke about a week ago and I still can't get a straight answer form Garmin on how to get it fixed....

This is really cool. I use it when I run and when I ride my bike. The GPS is flawless, the heartrate monitor works great too. No problem with the uploads. If your into running and really want to work at getting better, you need to buy this. Check around on pricing though, I have seen it cheaper onli...

A master runner not always assisted by technology in training, I have been using mine for ten weeks with no problems at all. GPS signal is picked up on the trail too, it holds the charge long enough for a 3+ hour run, and the variety of use has no limits in helping my training. I started to use it f...

I now own a 405 HRM and it has taken me about 4 runs to get used to it. Once I set the intial settings and figured out how to use the bezel, I have found it to be well worth the money. I don't like the Garmin training software but once you link the watch to the software, you have the option of seei...

I have been using the 405 for a few weeks.
1. The GPS picks up a signal quickly and holds it. The GPS is easy to use. The 405 has a nice feature where you set your starting location and use the GPS to find your way back. That is great when running through the woods. Also, you can type in GPS...

Sadly, I had to return mine. I dont know if it was faulty, but it would just die on me in the middle of runs. battery wouldnt last a full long run. granted, i run over 2 hours with it, but the 305 lasted like a week before dying. very frustrating especially when you are relying on it for exact milea...

This is a really cool tool. The bezel is a little sensitive at times but if you think of everything this does, it is truly amazing.

As a Forerunner 201 and 301 owner I was excited to get the 405. So far, after 10 runs the results have been mixed. When it works well it is great. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work well. I have had it freeze up on one run (requiring a reset that caused the run data to be lost) and have had t...

I returned my 405 within weeks of buying it -- very short battery use before having to recharge -- my 305 will go all week before charging. bezel is a nice idea, but finiky, even on slower setting. software stinks - very clunky and NOT what you'd expect when you buy the watch - i guess i'd hoped ...

I've had my 405 for about 2 months and couldn't be happier. The GPS picks up immediately. I live in the woods and have no problems with pick-up (it even picks up satellites inside the house). I haven't had trouble with the bezel except in the rain, and I sweat like a pig. Also the fit is excellent...

Only complaint is that the watch/band is too big/wide for women (but the correct length) and it is too short for men.
