hmmm, interesting comments on this watch. I too was unsure about the touch bezel, takes a bit getting used to after running with the 305. You do need to turn off the GPS if you want to wear it for casual use, otherwise the battery runs down too fast. I think some people don't understand that, but

Over the years I've had every running Garmin they've made. After putting up with this one for almost a year - I qucikly dumped it as soon as the 310 cam out. I could put up with the small screen and screwy way the bevel worked. But about an hour into any run your sweat will total confuse the touch
