Great watch. If the technology is similar to my old FitSense watch, the accuracy of distance is influenced by barametric pressure and running speed after calibration and possibly by temperature and humidity. It will probably be greater than 90% accurate.

Having trouble setting up for time and distance and manual is not very helpful. Can anyone assist?

I am a sub 2:50 marathon runner and triathlete and I love my new F60 with footpod. Looks great, durable, waterproof (both footpod and watch) lightweight, easy to navigate, accurate foot pod once calibrated, 3 fully customizable display option with 5 pages per sport, comfortable wrist band. Don't panic if the footpod is way off the first time you run, after calibration the accuracy went from 93.75 percent to almost 99%. I would strongly recommend this product to those who value a sporty looking running watch that gives them instantaneous pace.

I often find my gps is long on a race course - and this isn't gps technology. It's hard to run the tangents to avoid running long since a certified course has to be at least the advertised distance. Calibrating this will make it more accurate.

OK as HRM and pedometer; after sync with computer, displays Memory Full. All History deleted. Useless; no response from Garmin after 4 days. 5K race distance was 3.48 on watch.

Amazing watch. Perfect for competitive training and long races. I especially love the pace alert feature which makes every workout a major cardiovascular benefit. Easy to use with a simple interface. Font size may look big at first but is perfect during mid run when a glance is the only time you have to check your distance and pace. Worth every penny.
