Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: Bought this for my mom who goes to the gym 5-6 times a week, she likes the design, built quality, user friendliness and the overall performance of this watch, but a bit disappointed because this watch doesn't show real time calories consumption

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: The glaring setback of the 210 is when I connect my 210 to the USB connector to download runs and my gps device is not recognized. When I reposition the sensitive connectors of the USB plug with my 210--this causes my gps device to lock up and I lose the current run I am trying to download and all data on the device. All data downloaded onto the garmin website remains, but I prefer to have all data stored on the 210 as well. My 205 never ever had this problem. The described issue with my 210 is serious because it happens quite often and is very frustrating. Bottom line is the USB connection is just a horrible and unreliable design. I have lost so many runs due to this. I would not have purchased this product if I was aware of this issue. If garmin can correct this problem, I would recommend the 210 to all. But until then, I have to "not recommend." Losing valuable data is just to frustrating to me and I cannot stand to lose it! I still have my 210, but I use my 205 all the time instead because it is more reliable in terms of downloading run info.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I use my Garmin GPS whenever i run/walk/bike. It gives great stats on mileage, calories, distance and speed. I love that i can upload my run information to my PC and analyze my workouts. The Garmin website is easy to use and have useful charts for comparisons of your workouts. One small problem I had was with the USB plug. It wasn't charging my GPS. I had to send it back for a refund and purchase another one. Hopefully this one won't have that problem. Overall, I love my Garmin and won't exercise without it.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I use a Garmin 310XT for all of my off track running and a Garmin FR60 for track work and racing (the foot-pod on the FR60 give accurate, real-time pace information and the 310XT's GPS pace info is edgy). I hoped that I could combine the best of both with the 210..and for the most part, it works. The 310XT has spoiled me in that I have come to like being able to customize the data screens. You can't do this with the 210.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I use the watch every time I run. It is very easy to monitor my progress. The watch is light and comfortable for my small wrist.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I run regularly and have been using a Garmin for 2.5 years now. I have only used this watch a few times so far--I returned a Forerunner 110 because I wanted to view my lap history on the GPS. I don't think I'll be using the heart rate monitor very much, if at all. I wish there was a 210 that came without the monitor! I have been disappointed to discover that this one doesn't have weekly mileage that can be viewed on the watch like it could on the 205 (from what I can tell). I probably need to look at the manual a bit more...but it is a comfortable watch that is a lot less bulky than the 205. I don't know what I'd do without having my GPS when I run!

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: This is a great monitor for those looking to get some useful feedback without spending a fortune. I have been using it for my marathon training and it has been very accurate and quick to find the satellite signals. Much better than my previous garmin. So far, i have logged a few hundred miles with my Garmin and it hasn't lost it's signal yet.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: This is my first GPS watch, and I'm loving it. I do a lot of trail running, and this is a great way to stay on track with pace, and also know exactly how far I'm running. I haven't used the HRM yet, but I do appreciate that the rigid portion of the monitor is much smaller than it is on polar monitors.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I got this for my girlfriend but also find i am using it. she is not a triathlete so did not need my 310xt. for runs when she don't go i will use this and have in just a 5k , just cause i don't need all that my other offers but like how it is a bit smaller.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: Haven't gotten out to use the GPS function due to the inclement weather in Chicago, but the heart rate monitor works well, and it makes a comfortable wear watch.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: This is my first Garmin and I love it. I'm still learning how to use it but I love the milage accuracy and heart rate monitor. Before I would use a stop watch and run according to time limit w/o ever knowing how far I ran or use my vehicle but that had limitations as well. Now, I know exactly how far I ran and I know my heart rate.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: I have always had concerns about my pacing early in race events and used this in a 50K I just did. It helped me stay on track and not go too fast, as a result I had a perfect 31+ mile race!! Love knowing my precise mileage in my runs, this will be an indispensable tool from now on!

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: Very easy to use. Finds satellite signal fast. I run through several tunnels and under tree canopies and have never lost the signal. Love that I don't have to rely on a shoe pod any longer. Heart Rate monitor is comfortable and seems to work flawlessly. One of the coolest features is the ability to set up intervals workouts. No more driving to a track. The only thing that would improve the G20 is if it could upload data wirelessly.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS w/HRM Monitors: The same design as the 110, and just as easy to use, but this has the interval function missing from the 110. For me - competitive age grouper - it has what I need without getting overwhelmed with 200+ functions. And you can wear this as a watch also.
