Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Monitors: I consider myself somewhere between the casual/recreational and avid athlete categories, but not a "gym rat." I jog an average of 3.5 miles about every other day. I run a few 5Ks each year, but mainly jog by myself. I travel a fair amount, and have used Garmin Forerunners (205, 405, and now the 210) on six continents (all but Antarctica). I used a Forerunner 405 for over a year, but got fed up with the touch-sensitive bezel: almost every time I jogged with it, something unexpected (often bad) happened when the bezel was falsely activated. The 210 is smaller/lighter, finds satellites fast, and has all the features I need. And it's less expensive than the 405. I have a foot pod for indoor tracks, and use it for cadence data even when I'm using the GPS for location tracking, pace, and distance. The charging/download cable clip connection to the 210 is a little hard to get used to, and has to be reconnected once in a while, but I've used the 210 for over a month now and have gotten the hang of it. I use Garmin Training Center on my laptop to upload and store 210 data and Google Earth to produce location tracks.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Monitors: This is a very good product, is easy to use and reliable. Garming connect site is great to track your progress. Is not too fast to find the satellite signal.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Monitors: This watch is very sensitive to charge. It takes me up to 30 mins playing with the charger on the watch to "catch a charge" or transfer my runs. It has become time consuming and each time I plug my watch onto the charger I always wonder if it will work. Very tempramental. I would not buy this watch again.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Monitors: I have almost 300 miles so far on my 210 in 2 months. Ran a marathon with it. Best thing I like about it is the lap feature and it beeps at every mile. Wish the band could be replaced if it broke. But over all it is a very good GPS.

Comments about Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS Monitors: I purchased this to help me in my training for a Half Marathon this coming May. I was tired of guessing how far I was actually running, and I had no idea what my actual lap pace was. This GPS is great. I was able to figure things out by reading the online manual plus the PROs/CONs listed on Amazon for this GPS were quite helpful too. I love connecting it to my computer too and actually seeing the aerial view of where I ran and what my statistics were for each mile of the run. It is a little tricky as to how it connects to be charged, but I am learning how to do it more quickly. This is a great toy for a runner, and I wish I would have purchased it earlier because I have been running farther than I estimated. I bought the anniversary special one which is white/green. I love it! Let's just hope it lasts.
