I have had this product for almost 2 weeks now and have fallen in love with it. It took me a while to purchase this heart rate/gps watch, but am so happy I did--wish I didn't wait so long. If you are on the fence about it, after doing much research on the watches I have found this one to do what I needed it to do within a reasonable price, get it, you will love it too!
First, love how easy it is to use. Let it charge, put in some information (weight, sex, height) and your ready to go. Also like the Garmin connection online. You are able to see in detail splits, map, pace, speed and it even has a play so you can see everything in motion. I have mine set up where it splits every mile, but you can change this or do your own splits just by pushing a button. Second, the heart rate monitor works so well and the strap is very comfortable. Very easy to adjust for small/bigger chest. I am a female and I have mine just as tight as my bra strap and I can hardly notice it is there. Third, love that it is a rechargeable watch. I charged it once when I first got it over night and have been using it for 2 weeks about 5 days a week and the battery is still going strong! The watch head itself might be a little big for smaller wrists, but I like it cause I can read the numbers without squinting. But it is light weight and I hardly know it's there. Locating the GPS signal sometimes takes a little longer than I would like (longest it took was just about 2 minutes).

I bought this watch after much research. Liked the design and the fact that it didn't have too many bells and whistles. Since I received the first week of December I have had a lot of issues trying to get my runs to upload on my Mac, which after reading several blogs and no help from Garmin, I was able to resolve that issue. The BIG problem I had was this past Sunday, I was running my first marathon and as I stood in line waiting to start, the Start/Stop button popped and would not turn on! No Watch...ran solo! Not happy. Called Garmin Support today and they offered no apologies, just send it back ON MY OWN DIME and they will send me a new one in 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed with Garmin! After learning more about the watch and talking to others, I would recommend sticking with the oldy but goody Garmin 305 model!

I bought this watch for both treadmill & outdoor running and it's been a terrific tool for tracking my runs and analyzing data. I've checked it's readings compared to either the official timing, other gps devices (usually my iPhone) and treadmill readings, and it seems very accurate to me.

My one gripe is that it is huge on my tiny wrist. But I understand I sacrifice economy of size for features. I love the design of the Forerunner 10, but it doesn't work with a footpod. I'm very pleased with my watch and would buy it again.

Got this for my wife and have had no issues.
Still a bit bulky with the battery taking up so much space, but I would bet this will continue to shrink.
I love Garmin products! I have a 610. Garmin customer service has been good to me with my old 305 when I wore it in the rain....
