I use this during a long run (every 6-8 miles) or bike ride (every 10-15 miles). It is easy to take and tastes great.

i iam an ultra marathoner, my training consists of 100 plus miles a week of running and there are defenatly days that are tuffer than others, that is where roctane comes into play, open a roctaine when yor energy level is feelin a little lack luster, it gives you that sustaining energy kick w/out the gittery feeling that you need to endure the long distances..

I use this when I am in a hurry to go do a long run before or after work. It is easy to process quickly.

I also use it on my long runs - marathons - I find that it is more bang for your buck when you are out there for long miles. I am hypoglocemic and this is a great product for keeping me going.

i like gu products but mistakenly bought a flavor that doesn't have caffeine. the pineapple flavor tastes good, but wasn't as effective as i wanted it to be.

I'm preparing for my first ultra so I've been experimenting w/ different gels/chews. These, and in particular the pineapple flavor, have worked best for me by far. They go down easy, no after taste and are easy to carry. I use one after the first hour of running, then 1 every 30 minutes until I'm finished. Just finished my first trail marathon (4th marathon total) and these saw me through to the end.

I've been a Gu user for years. Training and racing with it in marathons and triathlons. I had just started doing longer distance edurance events when Roctane wsa introduced. The timing was perfect. I use it for marathons and ultramarathons and half and full ironman distance races.

Gu is a great product, but I have not noticed an appreciable difference between roctane and caffeinated gu, except for the price!!

GU is what i live off of. first i went vegetarian. then i went vegan. at that point i was having a hard time finding what to eat. thats when i discovered GU. now its all i eat. i have lost soooo much weight. its amazing and only slightly gross. GO GUITARIAN!
