Much better than the Cliff Shot Blocks! Those were absolutely disgusting! These are great, smooth, go down easy and no water is needed! I'm not a huge fan of orange flavored anything, but the orange is great in these!

Taste is great and better than Cliff shot blocks and has extra vitamins. Easier to chew the Cliff blocks as well. Only downside is the packaging. The Cliff blocks has much better packaging for having to carry and easier to get out. Overally great product.

I received a sample packet of Strawberry GU Chomps with my Roadrunner "New Balance" shoe order.
Yum! I do a 45 minute aerobic street style dancing 3x a week and tried the Gu Chomps before my workout today. Nice flavor, nice texture (reminded me of soft gummy bears) without the stickiness! And they are Gluten Free, YEAH!!!!! Sweetened with tapioca syrup and sugar, not the cheap high fructose corn syrup or corn syrup like so many other energy bars or supplements. I will be buying these from now on. These are a winner!

I tried the strawberry flavor and it was decent but I much prefer the taste of the Cliff Shot Bloks. These do have the added vitamins but I honestly could not tell a huge performance difference between these and Shot Bloks. Not a bad product, but I think I'll stick to GU for gel and Clif for Bloks.

I have used the GU Chomps without caffeine for my past mid runs (10 miles +) and wish I had gotten the ones with caffeine instead. The taste of the blueberry is tart and nice. The consistency is that of a Swedish fish candy. My only complaint is that it lacked the "pick me up" power of the regular GU gel. Otherwise, it is a very convenient product: you can consumme it little by little and stuff it in your bra without having gu all over you. I will buy again, but with caffeine.

Tried the orange chomps at the expo for the SF marathon this past weekend. Tasted REALLY good and didn't need to wash it down. I won't be using the gels anymore!

Welcome change to sucking on the nasty frosting tasting packs of gels. Tried these the other day and really liked them. Gave me lasting energy and didn't upset my stomach. Strawberry taste was good.

We love these for before a workout. The orange tastes great and they are easy to eat without needing water to wash them down.

I have been a Shot Block fan for a while. I love the Chomps because they seem to have a cleaner taste and no sticky bits stuck in my teeth. They are a little more tart than the blocks but also not as sweet. I love the fact that I don't have to take a bite off the side and keep it in my cheek like a chipmunk to finish later. Buy some Chomps and enjoy!!! I have tried all of the flavors. Haven't met one I didn't like.

I just sampled these at the Carlsbad 5000 expo and they're my new favorite. Slightly softer and easier to chew when compared to the similar Clif or PowerBar products. The best part is that I didn't have little pieces stuck to my teeth.
