        WHEN I AM RUNNING A LONG DISTANCE, ON MY HALF WAY I TAKE ONE OF MY GU GEL AND IT GIVES ME A LOT OF ENERGY TO FINISH WITH A GOOD RESULT. AFTER I FINISH MY TRAINING I TAKE ANOTHER ONE. IT MAKES ME FEEL STRONGER FOR ALL DAY LONG. I LOVE THEM!!!

          I like the gu gel the best of all of them. My favorites are the chocolate mint (like a peppermint pattie) and vanilla bean. These have quite a thick texture and are not too sickly sweet tasting. Once I get over 60-90 minutes in my run I sometimes find myself fading. One of these around every 30 minutes seems to do the trick. I'm a fan of accelerade and endurox but I tried the accel gels and found them sickly sweet and runnier in consistency which didn't sit well with me. I'm doing a half next week, will ramp down for 6 weeks or so and then I start training for a May marathon. These will definitely be my go-to fuel
