Enjoy a smooth ride with enhanced cushioning and reduced impact with improved shock absorption. If pronation is not a problem then choose Neutral+ shoes.   • Rockered midsole: Creates a unique rolling motion that encourages proper form by allowing a runner to easily strike the ground near the midfoot, so you can run more efficiently with less injury and quicker recovery
  • Cushioned EVA midsole: Foam is 30% softer than the material used in traditional running shoes and dissipates up to 80% of the shock associated with heel striking
  • Patented bucket seat: Recessed up to 20mm within the midsole unit for optimum control, also ensuring you maintain responsive contact with the ground at all times
  • Wide outsole: With a 30% wider outsole, it counterbalances the excess height of the midsole, and provides enhanced support and structure with the thermo-polyurethane reinforcements
  • Outsole with varying lugs: Outsole pattern is similar to an animals foot, with small lugs on the inside and large lugs on the outside, providing enhanced flexibilty and precise nimble movement to adapt to the terrain underfoot
  • High abrasion rubber EVA lugs: Enhanced, acute grip for mud and rugged terrain

              10 years of ultra trail running. switched to occasionally running in hokas due to mild PF. The first mafates were great! These are better! perfect almost in every way. the only con thus far is they are a little higher profile w/o the wider base, thus I am off balance a bit more, but i imagine that is just a transition period.

              I trail run. I dont just trail run, i hike to get lost for fun. I love my Hoka's and swear by them for ultra distance endurance racing as well as going to the grocery store. You will not find a more cushioned shoe. Remember moon shoes from back in the day? These are their reincarnation in the form of the Hoka One One.

              Trail running: Trails stand no chance. Bring on the rockiest, rutted, and rooted trail. You wont feel a thing in these bad boyz. I do 50 and 100 milers in these and I swear by them and never at them. I love them :) and I got 500 miles out of my last pair. They take a beating!

                I've been looking for a better Trail shoe than what I had been running in, so I was anxious to try out the Stinson Evo Trail. The shoe had everything that I had hoped for- stability, comfort, and very lightweight. I run the trails pretty hard, and I feel such a difference in my performance and recovery time.
