I bought this for help with tight IT bands and it works fantastic. I have been pleasantly surprised with all the other tight spots it is helping (neck, hamstrings, shoulders). I like that it's easy and conveniet to use - I often pull it out of my gymbag while I'm at work!

the stick works very well. i used it daily on my IT band and calves. problem is, after about 2 months of use, it broke! I was not very happy, especially because it was pretty expensive and they wouldn't replace it. I do recommend it, but be a little careful about how much strain you put it on it.

It definitely works out tight muscles, but leg hair gets pulled at when it gets trapped in between the white plastic pieces. A foam cover would alleviate this painful annoyance.

I got this to get my back - it's actually longer than the picture - saw it at an expo, but get my discount with RRS.

Love it. I was having quite a bit of pain in my calves while in training for a marathon. Stretching and anti-inflammatory meds just weren't working. I ordered The Stick and within a couple of weeks I was pain free. With the first couple of uses, I was able to really isolate the sore, tender areas of the muscles and could actually feel the knots being smoothed out. It was better than a massage as I could control the pressure and duration of treatment and could really concentrate on the sore areas. This device appears very simple, just a series of rollers on a somewhat flexible rod, with grips on each end, but it really works and I highly recommend it if simple stretching and rest is not doing the trick for you.

Great tool! Really relieves sore and tight muscles. Gets those knots out too. Purchased to help plantar fasciitis. Didn't make it go away, but helped considerably - feel tight now, but no pain. Highly recommend!

If you run or are active - do NOT live without a stick. Period. This, plus a foam roller and a tennis ball are the keys to staying fresh. Buy this now

Often times, my calves tighten up within the first 1/4 mile to the point that I have to stop running from the pain. THIS PRODUCT SEEMS TO FIX THE PROBLEM!! 30 seconds 2-3 times a day (once before & after running) loosens up the calves to the point that I can now run pain free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This Stick is amazing. Had ITB and hamstring problems, and this Stick got it done, and I only used it for 30 seconds per application, as the instructions suggested. For your benefit: I own both the Travel and Body Stick ( this is the longer, firmer Stick). Travel is great, as the name implies, to take on the road. Body Stick is better, if you don't need portability. It gets deeper into the muscles than the Travel Stick and is more versatile, and can be used on the back as well. I recommend buying both. Thanks for this wonderful tool. Without this Stick, I would not feel as good. I travel everywhere with my Stick(s).
