      Use this tool to roll out your calf muscles after every run. Speeds healing time, and really makes you feel good. Use in conjunction wiht a foam roller post and pre run. These things make the world of difference with sore muscles.

        This thing looks too simplistic to be effective, but it truly works. You should follow the directions and increase the pressure progressively as you roll, but it works even if you don't. Clearly loosened the knots in my calves.

            I have been borrowing a friend's "stick" for about a year now. I finally broke down and got my own and it was definitely worth it. I run about 3-4 times a week and started getting shin splints. Rolling my calves with the stick prevents shin splints and helps massage other muscles to loosen them up or soothe sore muscles. I knew what I was getting into and have no complaints. It really changed my running routine.
