        I've had a terrible time with calf injuries over the past 4 months. I bought this because I felt it was better than the ball roller I had been using. It definitely is easier to use and the effects can really be felt. Instructions say to apply as much pressure as needed and this can hurt a little but it is a good hurt. I use it both before and after a run. So far so good. Started using it with my latest calf rehab and so far I have no pain or tightness in the injured area and my milage and pace have been increasing each week. Don't know if it's the stick or my being smart about the rehab or both. I do think it has had a positive effect. However, the "it's on it's way within two hours of order pledge" leaves a lot to be desired. Mine took a while to get to me with no explanation from RRS.

            I got my first demonstration a few years ago at a marathon expo, wish I'd bought one then. It's much easier to use and more effective than the foam roller I'd been using before my boyfriend bought the stick.

                My whole entire team is chasing after me for one of these!
                Every single one of my teammates know whose bag to go to if they want "The Stick", as we call it. At meets, before and after races, I get asked if someone can use "The Stick" for their Tense Muscles, Circulation, and knots. That should say by itself how great and useful this product is, TO ANYBODY. If you are a runner just try it. You've got nothing to loose. "The Stick" only seems to do good to everyone. I have never heard anything about it that was a factor an injury or anything of that nature. The only thing to watch out for is if you roll it on your skin directly, you may get a leg hair or two pulled out if you angle "The Stick" the wrong way. It doesn't hurt, it is more of like, "what was that?" In conclusion, if you are a runner, and are looking for a cool new toy to make your times, just that much better, than buy this product. Like I said, there are no cons to this product at all. It is a must buy for every runner.

                    This is worth every penny. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but it helps cut down on my recovery time significantly.
