              I purchased The Stick because I have had a chronic problem with my achilles, likely tendinitis. Massaging the calves a handful of times per day has made a nice difference--certainly enhances blood flow / circulation in the area. ONLY downside is that it could be less expensive. I was surprised by the price, and it is the same prices everywhere, within a dollar or two. Excellent tool!

While it takes a bit more work to cover larger areas, since it is compact, the fact that it will even fit in a backpack or suitcase easily makes it so handy.                           I bought the "Stick" at the recommendation of my physical therapist as I have been experiencing IT band issues for a few years. I was able to run over 4 1/2 miles without pain and felt I could run much farther. I used the "Stick" before I ran and afterward. I have very little muscle soreness the next day. For reference, I run weekly usually and more if I have time. I swim twice a week and ice skate several times a week.
