I'm not a runner, but I found the best price here (sale and/or the VIP discount.) This review is a bit long, but the story may be familiar and may lead you to trying these sooner than I did. It could save you some pain!

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur (caused by an extended period of plantar fasciitis.) My ortho wanted me to purchase custom orthodics that cost several hundred dollars that insurance wouldn't cover. The doctor also told me that most people end up needing surgery anyway. (They may be TOLD they need surgery.)

I refused. Instead, I purchased custom orthodics elsewhere. It became clear why "most people end up needing surgery anyway." Then, I learned that someone I know has a heel spur (and the expensive custom orthodics.) They rarely wear their orthodics and, if they had it to do over again, they wouldn't purchase them. They told me to buy a certain brand of shoe (made in the USA) with good arch suport. That was okay for a while, but the relief wasn't complete and diminished with wear.

Eventually, I found these heel seats with great reviews. They didn't seem all that different from other heel cups that had disappointed me before and they seemed to be overpriced. I eventually I bit the bullet and found the really ARE different!

They felt odd at first...not uncomfortable, just strange enough that I thought about them throughout the day. About the time my heel healed, I forgot all about them being there. It really was almost too good to be true. They claim a 99.7% success rate and now I believe it.

It is worth mentioning that relief isn't dependent on body weight. I'm extremely overweight and these things make my heel spur unnoticeable (except when I'm barefoot of course!)

I just ordered a third pair. One for my work shoes, one for my favorite shoes, and one to move around. Hopefully the company is working on a version that works for sandals, etc!

I had developed Plantar during training for a half marathon. Pain got so bad I went to foot doctor and he told I had plantar in both feet and well developed heel spurs. I bought inserts for my shoes (they sold) and received cortisone shots in one heel that was the worst. I had little relief from either. 2 days before race I got another shot and was able to make it thru race, but could not walk the next day or I could barely walk pain was so bad. I had borrowed a boot from someone that said it had helped them and I got no relief from it that I could tell. I finally quit running for almost a year, because every time I tried pain would flare up, but it had never went away. Finally I bought these and a combination of these and arch supports have got me back running. I still have some pain, but it doesn't last. I have bought every tool for this issue, but I feel it was these 2 items that helped me immensely. I am currently training for a half marathon and so far so good :-)

I have started using these inserts after 4mo of heel pain. i knew i had plantar faciitis - i wore these through the day every day for about a week; i did not use them in my running shoes. i now run and walk pain free. this is an outstanding product.

I've been wearing these at work, they feel great - I hate to take them out.
What's nice it the material is soft enough to be comfortable, it doesn't slide in my shoe, and the bar sits right at the front of my heel for support.

I bought a pair of these about 6 months ago. I had severe plantar fasciitis. I would wake up barely able to walk and would have to limp around for some time before I could walk normally. By the end of the day I was limping again. I was never completely without pain. I bought a boot to keep my foot flexed at night, but there was little if any improvement.
I went to a podiatrist who said to wear only sneakers-either New Balance or Asics, to ice my heel 2-3 times a day, and to do stretching exercises 3 times a day. I also continued using the boot. I did this for a month with little improvement. I went back to the podiatrist, who said she could give me an injection of cortisone in the heel, but I really didn't want that because of the side-effects I had read about so she said to continue with the exercises, ice, etc.
I then read about the HTP Heel Seats online, and decided to buy a pair at Roadrunner Sports since there is one near me and I could return it if it didn't work. I put them into my Asics sneakers and wore them. The pain in my heel was reduced, but I had other pain in my feet caused by the inserts. I had read that it might take a few days to get used to them, so I stuck with it. After a few days, the pain caused by the inserts was gone, and my heel pain was improved, but not gone completely. The pain I had before was so bad, though, that I was happy with the improvement.
About this time I was prescribed a course of prednisone pills for a sinus problem. After taking the prednisone my heel pain was almost completely gone, with only some minor discomfort in the morning.
It is now several months later and I still continue to wear the HTP Heel Seats in my Asics every day. My heel pain is gone completely during the day, with only a little bit of pain first thing in the morning. Even though the prednisone provided the most relief, the HTP Heel Seats did help. I think if my pain wasn't so severe, the HTP Heel Seats would have been enough.

I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for seven months. Since the onset, I have tried every treatment recommended by my doctors, with the exception of a cortisone injection_ouch! I decided to give the HTP heel seats a try. As stated, the HTP heel seats do feel different and there is a short adjustment period. However, the heel pain relief was immediate. For the first time in months, I was able to walk and jog pain free (15-30 miles a week). Over time, and with the consistent use of the heel seats, the Plantar Fasciitis has begun to subside. What a relief to find a product that delivers as promised. I wish I had found the heel seats seven months ago. They are definitely worth a try.

I have never been more enthusiastic about a product. I am a marathoner who was rendered unable to run by debilitating plantar facias (I hope I spelled that right). Several trips to a podiatrist and other insoles he recommended did not help much. I bought a pair of these Heel Seets from Road Runner Sports and within a month I was back on the road. Yesterday I ran my first marathon in over a year (just 3 months since I started using these insoles). I wear these insoles in all of my shoes, casual and athletic all day everyday. I now own 4 pairs of them.

They can be easily moved from shoe to shoe. They may be helping, but have certainly not eliminated heel pain. I sure wish otherwise!!

I use these supports in my everyday shoes as well as my baseball and running shoes. I have had plantar faciitis recently as well as learning I have some spurs in my right heel. I was in considerable pain, especially first thing in the morning. After using these inserts for 3 months my feet feel a lot better and I can run without pain.

I bought these heel seats to help with pain from at the time what I thought was Plantar Faciitis and weakening arches. I saw almost immediate results with the heel pain and my arches felt a lot more supported. I went to an ortho doc about my heel pain and eventually learned I had bone spurs. Since beginning to use this product I have nearly no pain and am able to run as well as play baseball/softball comfortably again.
I actually bought 2 more pair to use and rotate through all my shoes.

I suffered with heel pain that kept me from running on a regular basis. I faithfully stretched morning and night. I tried all the recommended therapies to no avail.

Out of desperation, I sent away for the heel seats. They were the first things I tried that provided immediate relief. I am wearing them now as I write this. I have recommended them to a buddy who has the same problem. Finally, I bought additional pairs to put in my running and casual shoes.

I am 6'2" 230lbs. I developed PF in my right foot when I increased my milage from 9-12 to 15-20 mile per week. I had to stop running due to the pain. Within a week after getiing the inserts I was back running 3 miles 3 times in about a week. They don't cure PF but as soon as you put them in you can feel that they place pressure in the right spot.

After diagnosing my condition as plantar fasciatis, and reading remedies, I decided to order these inserts. At the same time, I also stopped walking up stairs. I have been struggling with Plantar Fasciitis pain and thought the only remedies were those sock things and no running. When I found these I wanted to try them right away. As soon as I put them in my shoes I felt a difference.

I have had heel pain for a couple of years now. I have tried other inserts and they help but not a lot. It took me a day to get used to wearing these inserts. My feet felt a little tired and slightly uncomfortable for the first couple of times. Within the first two days my heel pain has totally subsided. I don't have to wear them all the time. They don't fit into my high heels but they do fit into my work heels that have a thicker heel. The only draw back that I have noticed is that the rubber surface can make it hard to slip your foot into your shoes.

I use these heel supports in both running and street shoes--they insert easily into either without affecting the fit of the shoe. They provide support and cushioning while relieving the symptoms of plantar fasciitis--I get up in the morning with little to no heel pain. Definitely worth trying if you suffer from plantar fasciitis.
