I have been reading and learning about barefoot running. I figure these socks would be a good "first step" in that direction. And... they are! I can feel the difference from a traditional sock. My feet seem to grasp the inside of the running shoe better and I know my feet perspire less. I like the feel!
I haven't experienced anything negative yet and I've used them several times.
Will get more pairs!

These are the best Injinji socks that I have owned and I purchased several additional pairs. These particular socks would be closest to a "trail sock" if you are looking for a more durable, slightly thicker high end injinji sock. They do run large; I am a size 10 and order a small in these as I prefer a lower profile, snug sock.

I have used these in my Five Fingers (primary) and in regular running shoes (secondary)- they are absolutely ideal for winter running and general outdoor activity when wearing Five Fingers.

Highly recommended.

I use these to prevent blisters, especially because of a bunion. I used to wear the thin Injinji's but I like the feel of the material on the mid-weight better for running. Can't wear any other socks for running anymore!

I got these to use as a liner for my Vibram Five Fingers for running in the snow. They work great. The fit is excellent, and it's a quality made product. Perfect weight. Provides just the right amount of cushion and warmth for toes. I use them in all my sports shoes now.

These are much more durable and comfortable than past Injinji's. Just needs to available in an extra large size.

Feel of sock fabric is good. Problem is from what seems like a lack of curve along the toes. When little toe side pulled onto toe, it's too long and slides off. That leaves wrinkles too. At least for me the outside edge should be shorter.
Would recommend to a friend with reservations, just to see if they have the same problem.
