Pleasantly surprised

I was really looking for a good stability cushion running shoe and was having a tough time with that. I saw these shoes in an ad and was hesitant because of K-swiss kind of a newbie in the running field. The looks of these are awesome and the comments I get from people are that these shoes look great. The first day I ran with these I couldn't believe it, the fit and the cushioning is amazing!! I own Adidas and Newtons and my running shoe of choice right now is the K-swiss. Great job K-swiss.

Lacks durability in mesh upper

I normally run in the K-Swiss Konejo II and have been very satisfied with it as a stability shoe, but decided to give the Blade-Max a try because of the flashy colors, even though it was more expensive than the Konejo II. Out of the box the Blade-Max felt lighter and offered good stability and cushioning, but after 2 weeks, my big toe had punched a hole through the mesh upper in the toe box. I can understand this happening after 12 weeks, but with it occuring after only 2 weeks, I elected to return the Blade-Max and ordered the Konejo II's.

Great shoe

Initially thought I was going to only use this pair for short runs but took it out for 9 miles and it provided excellent support as well as feeling comfortable throughout my run. Previously have used Asics and Nike stability shoes with custom insoles but haven't needed them on these shoes. Will be running a half soon so we'll see if they continue to perform as well as they have thus far.

Great Distance Trainer

Great Shoe. I am 180 lbs moderately slow runner putting in the miles for distance Triathlons. This shoe suits the business well for me. It supports my mild over pronation and provides a comfortable and cushioned ride that helps my joints.I bought this shoe to rotate with my Asics Kayanos. Both work well, giving me options when it comes to running function.

K-Swiss needs to get their act together!

I usually wear Brooks Adrenaline, but thought I'd try these for shorter races like 5ks, etc because they're lighter. The problem is one of the shoe laces was the wrong size. I am a size 10.5 and I am guessing the lace was for a size 7 or 8 shoe. I was unable to get a lace replacement in a color other than pink or light blue. At the end of the day if K-Swiss wants to be a player in the running shoe market, they need to get their act together. I was willing to give them a try, but won't attempt to purchase another pair in the future.

Who woulda guessed?

6 ft 1 175 lbs - normally wear NB or Asics stability models. Just for fun looked for something different. Ten mile run pretty much right out of the box went just fine. Good balance of cushion and stability - not too heavy or light. I am a B to C width. These are a tad wide but not a problem. Room for my otc orthotics. Should be a good marathon shoe.

Big red cadillac

This shoe reminds me of a big pink caddy-- heavy, comfortable, in for the long distance travels. You won't win any speed races but it is definitely better than ASIC and Nike for the heavy runner or one with knee surgery. ( I am both).

First marathon in 83!

Great Soft Ride

I took a chance on this new shoe and I'm hooked. Nice and soft ride, yet firms up over a few miles and gives me all the support I need, I usually need more than average.

They Rock

These shoes really fit well, and give good support with my orthotics.
