Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

Male 5'10'' 190 lbs, 6-months after having a neuroma surgery. Slowly getting back in the game and I am very happy with these shoes. Before the operation, I had two pairs of the Wave Creation 04 and thought they were great. This pair of Creation 6s feel incredibly comfortable. (I'm a lot slower right now and more than a few pounds heavier, so I'm very happy to run in something that feels as good as these.) If they keep making great products like this, I'll be in Mizuno shoes for a very long time.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

Female 5'8" 175lbs. 15 or > miles per week. I am a heavy runner that mostly jogs for the exercise. I have tried Kayanos and Nike Air. Both of these shoes seemed to have little "quirks" that I was always having to deal with - tight tendons, heel pain, muscle spasms. My husband even called me "Princess and the Pea." I was always very aware of what I had on my feet with those shoes. I love the Wave Creation. I have had mine for a month now, and I don't think about my feet anymore. I did have to send back the first pair I ordered for a whole size up because the toe box wasn't big enough. This is a great shoe.

Love this shoe...(i also use precision for quicker runs and a asics landreth) this shoe doesn't feel soft, but protects my knees more than any shoe i've ever had. i know on my long run days if i use the creation i will be just great later that day. was not the case with the asics nimbus. it was a cloud thats for sure but did nothing to protect my feet and legs

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I felt disappointed after runnig for 3 to 4 miles, I was expecting more support, (I'm a heavy runner) but all I got was some pain in my calves. I'm more accustomed to wearing Adidas shoes, (specilly the Supernova Cushion) and I could tell some big differences between one and the other.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I am training for my first 20K and hadn't ran outside (Iowa weather!!!) but when I did, I was having problems with horrible shin splints and foot pain due to poor arch support. I'm a medium build heel striker and haven't had any problems since starting with this shoe, we'll see how it holds up but I'm glad I checked out the Mizunos (and this website). I do use the sorbuthane insoles (graphite arch I think) and while I don't think they're an absolute necessity-I do think that they make the shoes and the ride just plain heaven!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I just have to give these shoes 5 stars! I am a 160lb "jogger" at this point--have worn Glycerin 2s and just got finished with Nimbus VIs--the sole broke down after 3 months of not very many miles. I have a high instep/arch and I feel these shoes are like the "real thing." They're about as ugly as homemade sin, but I think they'll be my shoe of choice for a very long time! (The Nimbus VI is like the cool kid--these are the nerdy dork!) Guess which one is going to take you to the finish line without abandoning you?

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I love these shoes, had 2 pairs of 5's and these are better. Better fit in forefoot and more cushioned insole! I don't understand how someone mentioned these were less cushioned, its the same exact midsole w/ a different upper pattern and more cushioned sockliner! Maybe you just need to break them in more so they feel like the old ones.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

Wow ! I'm a heavy (220 lbs) neutral guy who was wearing the Nimbus 6 but that was doing some funny things to my legs - forefoot leans way too far to the outside - felt like ITB was coming my way. Tried these and am amazed - the best shoe I think I've ever worn, and believe me I've worn a few ! Supportive, huge cushioning and lovely fit. Hard to see a way they could improve it. Try it - you'll love it !!

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I've been running in the Wave Creation for several years and have had great success with these shoes (I'm 6'1" 175 lbs.). Great fit, cool mesh and fantastic cushioning. Tried the Rider and found I missed the cushioning. I was disappointed with the toe box of the Creation 5 (strip rubbed top of foot) but problem is fixed with 6. Highly recommended.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

These shoes kick-butt! I'm a nuetral runner with med-high arches at 185lbs. These shoes have nice cushion and yet they feel light and have a good sense of control in them. I bought my first pair of Mizunos two years ago and I thought they were great. In fact, I still have them and wear them for special runs. The '04s were fine but not nearly as comfortable or durable as the previous model. This version has got it right! I plan on buying a couple more pairs and stahing them away. And who doesn't like the black and orange colors...great for Halloween. I also wear Asics and Saucony, but these are my favorite shoes.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

Great fit, light, flexible, very little breakin required. But even for a light (129 lb. male) runner like me, I found they lacked the cushioning of the Creation 5 - maybe the Wave plate will soften some with use, but if it doesn't, I'm going to dig up some more pairs of the 5. BTW, the upper is definitely better, so if you don't have issues with the cushioning, it's a great shoe. I just want something that feels better for long (10+) runs.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I'm 6'3", 225lbs, run a 7:30 pace, was running in the nimbus VI, love the cushioning, fit, and support of the nimbus, but the first time I ran in the creations I noticed my toe-off was awesome (I forefoot strike), the fit was snugg and supportive. I am very pleased. They are so much like the creation 01's but with more cushion and support. Compared with the Nimbus, the Nimbus is kinda flat in the arch. The creation has a bouncy supportive arch that I hope stays in future models. Happy running. peace.

Awesome shoes. Better than Creation 5. Upper is snugger and tongue is more padded. Heel fit is also better. Only downer for me is ventilation wich is good but was better in the "5". But overall Creation 6 fits alot better. Insole seems better too. Great shoe. I'm 6ft10 160lbs, >30miles/week. Normal arches and neutral.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

Very disappointed! I have loved and worn out several pairs of Creation 5's. I wore the sixes for 1 run and was crippled by the pain (I had to cut my Sunday morning long run short ...... sacreligious!). I found they lacked the cushioning of the 5's and also felt very stiff. The whole outside of my foot and under the soles ached. Not to mention Morton's Neuroma being severely irritated by them. Stiching on the new overlay created an uncomfortable strip on the outside of my foot until the skin actually rubbed off. Very painful, and very sad that Mizuno changed what for me, was a winning formula.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Creation 6 Running Shoe:

I bought my Creation 6's on a couple of recommendations here, after a pair of Asics Nimbus 6's that I never really liked. The Creation 6 was just the ticket: stabile ride back-to-front, enough cushioning to prevent the mid-foot pain I used to get on long runs with the Nimbus, and a fit that felt like an old pair of jeans by the second run. These are great shoes.

Love these shoes! And the insert they use is more cushioned now to make it even better, didn't think possible! I switch between these and the Riders yet haven't tried the rider 8 yet. Note...my friend has no arch so if you have a flat foot this is not the right shoe, but im sure everyone knows that!
