Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

Best all-round running shoes I have tried... I have the least knee problems in these shoes, and they have lasted in the past a good 4 months of heavy running with a CC team.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

This is quite possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes that I've ever worn. Their light, fast, reasonably cushioned (but not mushy), and have just a hint of stability. The fit of this shoe is amazing! The heel holds my foot snugly, the forefoot has plenty of room, and the mesh upper feels great. Compared to the DS Trainer, which I ran in last year (and thought was too narrow in the forefoot), this is a more balanced, better fitting shoe. I haven't done anything longer than 6 miles in them yet, but my guess is they would be fine for longer runs (so long as you're on the lighter side). My only question is how long this shoe will last?

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

I am a former Asics fanatic and now i have to say that the Wave Mav 4 has converted me to Mizuno. Very comfortable, breaths well my orthodics fit great in them. I wish they came in more widths though. Excellent breathable construction and good stability.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

I expected a lot about this new model as it has more breathable upper and the same sole as the predecessor which overall comments were fairly good; stable, cushy, and responsive as well as lightweight. But my impression is a bit disappointing. It is too stiff compare to other brands' same category shoes such as Nike Zoom Elite or Asics DST. Yes its stability and lightness is excellent. However the cushoning especially that of forefoot is not enough. I will be back to my old Nike Zoom Elite.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

Stability was great. The toebox is much narrower than the Alchemys I was wearing before. I developed a painful callus on both feet. I returned them after only 14 miles. I am going back to the Alchemy 04.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

I love the firmness of this shoe. This shoe is better than the DST. Don't change this shoe like all other company's making the forfoot too flexible and mushy! Keep it firm.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

Mav 4's are a light weight, comfortable shoe with a great ride and just enough stability. They are most like the original Mavs for me. Looks like the same sole as the Mav 3's but to me the ride feels better.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Maverick 4 Running Shoe:

This is, IMHO, an excellent cushioned lighter weight stability trainer. Compares favorably with the A6 DS Trainer X and the Brooks Axiom. Heel cushion is superb, but forefoot can seem a bit stiff on longer training runs. Also, is a good option for faster tempo runs.
