Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Elixir Running Shoe:

Solid, light trainer also great for racing half and full marathon. Generous fitting forefoot, slightly loose heel, but does not slip so much as to induce blistering due to excessive movement of the foot in the shoe. Seems best for efficient runners, maybe very slight pronators. If you're a larger runner looking for a well cushioned, stability trainer similar to the Kayano, look elsewhere. This shoe is closer to the DS Trainer type of ride and function.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Elixir Running Shoe:

The Mizuno Precision was my favorite shoe for many years, but I was disappointed with the new model. I turned to the Elixir and was very surprised by its light weight, cushioning and flexibility. As a neutral runner with high arches, the shoe's mild degree of stability does not get in the way.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Elixir Running Shoe:

I was recommended this shoe for stability and ive been running on clouds ever since. This is the best trainer in my opinion on the shelves. It is light and form fitting and brings out the best in you on all of your runs. Works well also as raceing shoe.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Elixir Running Shoe:

Very pleased overall; as I uae this shoe essentiall just for races. Solid light weight cushioning in both the heel and forefoot. Excellent for long distances races such as a full or 1/2 marathon. Heel is beginning to show a lot of wear after less than 200 miles so that's,IMO, the enivitable downside.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Elixir Running Shoe:

Flexible and light as the Precision 7, but much more supportive and much more durable. The new midsole material ("ap") improves cushioing and durability, particularly for long runs, but it's not as soft as EVA + VS1 (rubberized foam/EVA) in Precison 5/6.
Great shoe for long runs, especially for those that require bit of support.
I'm a male, 5' 8", 150#.

I'd buy the Brooks Axiom or the Asics DS Trainer over this. Not that soft or responsive.
