Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

These were the worst shoe I've ever purchased. I decided to try the stability mizuno after wearing the kayano and hurrican shoes and was extremely dissapointed with the durability. The price for these shoes is up there with others, but quality is certainly not. Needless to say, I was very dissapointed and would not recommend or would purchase them again. If you are looking for a stability shoe I would recommend Saucony Hurricane or Asic Kayano.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

These shoes are excellent- I am a 125lb female cross country athlete with moderately low arches. I am a new Mizuno wearer, and these shoes took a long time to get used to- however, now I love them. However, the heel wore out way too fast- after about 150 miles the entire left side of the heel was partially worn away, and now after about 400 it is almost completely gone. These shoes also took a long time to break in. Other than that, a wonderful pair of shoes.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

When the first Nirvana came out, I LOVED it. This second release I am not so happy with. Still very good support, but the shoe seems sluggish, unresponsive, like I am pulling it through my run rather than the shoe pulling me.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

I was a fan of the original and went through two pair. I'm up to 150 miles on the updated version. I would say that they seem to be holding up better for me than the first version which seemed to lose it's cushioning around 200 miles. There seems to be more cushioning in the heel--I feel a little higher off the ground in the Nirvana 2 then in my Nirvana 1's. The fit is about the same and that alone keeps me coming back. If you liked the original you'll probably like the update.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

Having major over-pronation problems and not liking a clunky shoe, I've found the Wave Nirvana 2 is a great mix of being comfortable and stable enough for my feet. I feel like I'm running on clouds and my ankles feel great. I highly recommend these shoes.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

I decided to try the Nirvana 2 after it received best update from runner's world. The cushioning is firm typical of Mizuno. However, I'm giving it 2 stars because for the price, the heel wears way too fast. I've got it for 2 months with less than 100 miles on it and it's basically worn out on the left shoe. The X-10 is is placed too far back for my gait and is also too thin. I've used the discontinued Mercury and they lasted a long time. Back to Asics GT 2110.

Comments about Womens Mizuno Wave Nirvana 2 Running Shoe:

These shoes helped me come back after a year-long break from training due to pregnancy and patellar tendenitus. I usually where a neutral shoe, but because of the changes in my joints due to pregnancy, I had to get more stability and needed the cushioning for the extra weight I was carrying. These shoes kept my gate stable, provided wonderful cushioning, and were still relatively lightweight. I am now back to wearing performance trainers, but still wear these occasionally. I highly recommend them for anyone needing stability and cushioning!
