i guess i got lucky, but my pair lasted me through an entire summer of base training for cross country (~500 miles), durabilty wasn't an issue for me, and they were pretty comforatble.

It wasn't a good shoe for me. MY low arches possibly the reason, but they broke down quickly, too. I'm a fan of Muzuno running shoes, so I'm going to try another pair that is more gear to runners with low to moderate arches.

These shoes had fantastic cushioning and great flexibility right out of the box. However, after 200 miles they completely lost their cushioning. I'm 180#, 6' and run about 30 miles a week.

Concur that this is aolid lighter weight stability shoe right out of the box. Good medial support and yet and yet reliable cushioning in the heel and forefoot. Not a wide forefoot, but fit me like a slipper! Very pleased with them in a recent 5K race. Suggest the Nirvana if you're a heavier runner.

I like the ride and fit of these shoes. They required very little break in and were very smooth right out of the box. Still after about 300 miles I had to replace them with a new pair due to deterioration of the sole. I'm a heaver runner, but I did expect a few more miles out of them.

At first, I find them stiffer than my Asics Kayano and I thought they would not become m long distance favorites but after 5 races, I must admit that this is a very dynamic, well cushioned and stable shoes. My Asics Kayano XI rates a little bit higher in terms of confort but they are heavier.

A fantastic shoe! I am about 195 lbs and run about 15 miles a week. This shoe has cured all of the knee and back pain I'd experienced in the past.

After a few runs I would have given this shoe 5 stars, but I found that it drastically looses its cushioning after 50. At 70 I simply had to toss it. I run on mostly concrete and asphalt but I'm only 140lbs for crying out loud. I can't believe the shoe deteriorated so quickly.
