Felt heavy, dead & inflexible. I was very disappointed. Now I wear them with jeans. Back to New Balance 1223

I absolutely love this shoe. I am a mid-foot striking, 220 lb half-marathoner, with a med to high arch, avg 30 mi/wk. Mizunos have always fit my feet best and I ran in the Wave Creation for years, but developed Plantar Fasciitis in the the 8's. I tried the Nirvanas and fell in love with them immedia...

Fantastic shoe; did 18 mi out of the box. Width accomodated my EE with thin socks. Good cushioning for 175 lb. runner. Shoe similar to Asics Kayano 11 but with slightly longer arch.

I miss the old Wave Nirvana. Although very light, this shoe is not sturdy enough to protect this 200+ lb. runner from the pounding. This shoe reminds me of why I left New Balance.

I´m a 190lbs. runner coming back from serious knee injuries. I´ve been running in Mizunos for the last 9 yrs. including a 2:56 Berlin marathon. The Nirvana 3 is an excellent training shoes, smooth ride, like running on low tide sand.

This shoe is a welcome change for me in the summer months. I can wear the 2120, Trance or Kayano, and this shoe has, by far the most ventilated and cushioned forefoot I have ever felt.

this is the most supportive shoe i've ever had. i've had kayanos, hurricanes, you name it. but this shoe takes the cake for stability. i have nearly flat feet and these do the trick. i've put about 350 miles on them and they're still holding up. a little on the heavy side but that's okay i'm not a k...

I'm satisfied with this shoe. I was a big fan of the original Nirvana and settled on these as a quick replacement. My orthotics don't fit these as well as the originals but it works. The best thing is that my issues with the toebox on other shoes has not reappeared since switching to Mizuno. I j...

Best shoe I've run in. Great look and feel. The only thing I would advise is not to buy 1/2 size up.

These are fantastic! I have been through dozens of shoes the last few years to try to alleviate leg pain while running, and the first run out of the box with these was my best ever! After 3 runs in these, I feel like I am finally pushing my aerobic capacity and not fighting my legs. The transitio...

Decent shoe, but not as good as the original Nirvana (I didn't like the 2nd version).
The 3 has great cushioning and a smooth ride. But the increased cushioning combined with what seems like a higher heel profile compromise the support. The stability on the 3 just isn't as fine-tuned as the origi...
