No cushion. I have always rotated this shoe with the Alchemy. Both shoes have much LESS cushion in the heel and forefoot. I have been a dedicated Mizuno runner for about 8 years now, but going to try a different brand. Mizuno - wake up. When your feet are killing you after a minimal 6 miler due to l...

I have used 2120 and Adrenaline 6,7. By far the most comfortable and natural feel. I am 195 lbs. and a hard heel striker. I usually wear out the heel before the cushioning goes away. I have 145 miles on this pair with not much wear at all. I have already ordered a second pair.

Switched to these shoes after wearing the 2110 and Brooks Adrenaline 7. More cushion and support for my 18+ mile long runs. I love this shoe. Nice and room toe box and good weight.

I'm 6'1", 170lbs, narrow heel, wide forefoot, and flat arches. During my 6-8 miles 3 or so days a week on concrete and occasionally sand, I've fallen in love with these shoes. No sore feet or knees, and amazingly, no blisters between the toes. Light and good looking too.

Best cushion/ stability shoe I have run in. Feels very natural. I have a tendency to wear out the heel quickly so I am curious to see how long they last.

I switched to this shoe from the Mizuno Wave Alchemy 5 & 6 series (which I used to train and run a marathon). I was looking for a little extra cushioning under the forefoot since most of my training now is on asphalt instead of gravel/dirt. I found this shoe to be a much more comfortable fit than th...

To me, this is the best fitting Inspire to date. I’m narrow in the heel and have a wide forefoot. The 2 was really snug - even in forefoot. I liked the fit of he original, but it was a little weak on stability. The 3 is slightly more relaxed and also runs longer than previous models, and seems t...

This shoe has a bit too much cushioning for me and that slows me down a little, but it's pretty light for all its cushioning and heel to toe action is pretty quick. Otherwise, a good shoe. Lasts pretty long too.

This shoe has a substantially different feel than the Inspire 2. I found it heavier, either real or imagined and thought my runs were much more work with this shoe. Heavy in the heel, my foot strike was or seemed much different. On to trying different shoes, yet again.

I run 50 miles a week and loved the inspire 2. The Inspire 3 is a Terrible shoe. Feels nothing like the inspire 2 the shape of the sole is changed, The pair I bought is relegated to mowing the lawn, That is as long as I can stand to wear them.

A 65 year-old geezer (6 ft, 160 lbs)I needed a shoe to get me through long training runs without the various pains I've experienced of late. This one is it! Snug and comfortable.

Wed, July 04,2007:
I used to run in the Alchemy, but Mizuno changed the Alchemy into a motion control shoe. The Inspire is the shoe that the Alchemy used to be, which works perfectly for me (6-0, 175, high arches, narrow heel, wide forefoot).

Solid shoe. I am 5'10", approx 160 pounds . Run 20-30 miles per week. This "stability" shoe helped with knee and ankle pain that I developed while running in Wave Creation (which was not right shoe for my foot/body type). My recommendation: look and follow guidelines from roadrunner, don't get su...

Nice Road Shoe and good for distance. Downside absorbs persperation on longer runs +14. Like it better than the 2120 and the Nirvana 2. Very Comfortable.

Sun, June 17,2007:
The Inspire series gets worse with each new model. I started with the original Inspire and really liked the arch support and tight heel and midfoot fit. The Inspire 2 has a little less of both and now the Inpire three has lost both with the wide toebox. I have a narrow heel and mid-high arch so i...

Sun, May 27,2007:
Compared to the Wave Inspire 2 it feels more cushioned, more flexible, and has less arch support; it's softer than even the GT2110. Along with the Alchemy and Rider, the Inspire has become less firm, less responsive, and more cushy with each revision lately; IMO losing the characteristic Mizuno fee...

Indeed, 'Inspire' has a fitting name. I'm a 60+ miles per week guy (5'9" 155 lbs) and the cushioning, along with the snug heal, make this a great shoe for mid-to-high milage crowd. I like these much better than Asics 2120.

Finally, a shoe that fits. I am 6' - 170 lbs with no arch. I had been with the Asics DS Trainers and NB 870, but never could hit the high mileage w/o problems. Not anymore. Love the heel fit and light weight - ideal for long runs.

I'm 5'8", 165lbs. The shoe for me is excellent. The fit is perfect-wide forefoot with snug heel. Supportive with plenty of cushion. Highly recommended for long distance training.

What an incredible shoe! I have worn the 21__ series from Asics for years but wanted to give Mizuno a shot. This shoe is lighter & transitions better than any Asics. The Inspire is the best stabilty training shoe I have ever owned! Don't overlook this gem of a shoe.

After years of running in Asics DS-Trainers I opted for a change. The fit and feel is wonderful, and the arch problems I'd been having the past 10 months are finally gone.

Great stability in the heal. Also, ample room in the toe box, which is a priority for my foot (slight bunions). Result is an extremely comfortable ride
