Sat, July 19,2008:
I bought 2 pairs of the Wave creation sevens, and they were the best running shoe I ever had. The eights were a little stiff and give me blisters. The front is more narrow than the sevens. Not a terrible shoe, but not near as good as the sevens.

I tried the WC 8 because they were on sale. I was a long time Nike fan because prior trials with Adidas, Asics, and Saucony were utterly disappointing. Although the cushioning is un-Nike like, after a few miles I began to love the responsiveness and comfort of these shoes. Also unlike Nike these sho...

My bucket of WC-5's and 6's which I loved finally wore out and I bought these 8's. Got maybe a hundred miles on them. Disappointed. I can't get the lace tension correct, a little too tight over instep, forefoot goes numb, little too loose, heal is sloppy. They don't seem to self regulate like t...

Hated 'em. They felt like I was running on a couple of 2X4's strapped to my feet. After 5 miles or so my feet started to go numb. I sent them back and got the Nike Vomero - they're awesome. I'm 170lb and run 20-30 mi/wk.

Sun, March 16,2008:
OK, like some of the other reviewers, I hated these for the first few runs. Out of the box, they seem heavy, stiff, and the infinity wave system feels very hard. However, I stuck with them and after about 50 miles (perhaps too much required breakin), they started to feel more flexible and cushy. I a...

Am a Rave Wider runner for year and my wife bought these for me. For a 200 pound runner, these shoes are stiff and without cushion. Sent them back after just a few runs!

I thought I was a Mizuno customer for life until I bought these shoes. Past Creations have been very comfortable with a very soft landing. This one is not as comfortable but the main problem is it is extremely stiff. You can here me coming from 20 yards away -- sounds like I'm running in a pair o...

This is a shoe i have been looking at for about a year and when i saw them onn sale i had to get them. i have benn wearing it for about a month now and it is possibly the most comfortable shoe i have ever worn. in past experiences i have owned Nike Air Max 360, Rebook Pumps, Nike Shox, and New Bala...

Just OK. Fairly comfortable, but not nearly enough cushion for my 6-1, 200 lb frame.

Have run in Mizunos for years, and have not found a shoe as good as the Mizuno Wave Creation 6. Would love to buy about 6 pairs of 6's for years to come.

Sat, January 05,2008:
I've run in Mizuno's for 10 years. This model, though comfortable, is too heavy and klunky for those who have grown accustomed to light Mizuno shoes. Additionally, if you occasionally run on trails or in snow, the gap in the heel gathers large amounts of snow, dirt, and small pebbles. This, more ...

Fits my wide forefoot but is a hulking, heavy shoe. Not sure of the point. 1 star for the function, 4 stars for the fit. Averages out to about 2 stars.

I feel extremely fortunate to have experienced this brand and this style (specifically). I'm 5'5" and 195 lbs -- male who hates to run but love to lift weights. My running partner is 5'0" and 109 lbs and is an intermediate runner. Retired from the military because of achillis tendonitis and heel ...

I am 6'2",230 lbs. I have had 8 or 9 pair of creations. I used to have problems with plantar faciaitis with other shoes. Since running in these I have had no problems. I love the feel and comfort. I rotate 3 pair and have never felt they wear prematurely.I love these shoes!! I have tried many other ...

I've been running in this shoe only occasionally starting this summer and put on a little over 30 miles so far. Today I go for a run in 40 to 50 deg. F weather and the cushioning disappeared on me! The plastic, "cushion" struts don't bend like they are engineered to in cold weather. Walking from ...

Decent Shoe- My 1st Mizuno. I'm not sold on the brand but I'm not disappointed in the shoe. I'm 190lbs and run about 40mi/week. Since I bought the shoe I've run alomst 100mi in them. They take awhile to break in. The 1st 30mi or so miles left me numb, the 1st 5mi left me regretful. Give them a c...

Wed, November 14,2007:
I have ran with mizunos for years (wave riders), and switching to this one has been a great disappointment. Firstly, the shoe is extremely stiff; although well-cushioned, one feels like running in expensive dress shoes .. not a nice feeling. Furthermore, the soles quickly wear out. I run 80km+ /w...

Just goes to show how we all can have such a different experience with the same shoe. These seem very light, have great cushion- firm and responsive rather than squishy- great transition and allow for midfoot strike very nicely. I'm 145 lbs and these shoes don't feel bulky at all.I've never ran in a...

I have worn 6 different creations and found the iteration prior to this one to be the worst made this shoe fits wonderfully and is very durable. I would like for Mizuno to add back a little of the cusion they took out when they created the figure 8 infinity heel on them. I do not think the heel wi...

The heal was way to stiff for a Neutral+ shoe. I opted for the Saucony Triump 4. I'm a big guy, 6'4" 230lbs and the Wave Creation 8 didn't work for me.

I am a big and tall guy doing 30-35 miles a week. I use these for track workouts. Although they have decent cushioning, they are a bit stiff and heavy for me and I won't be buying another pair. The main culprit seems to be the heavy and firm waveplate. One side effect of this criticism is that the s...

Neutral +????? Forget the +!!! Listen RRS: Hardly any cushioning!!!! The heel feels like permanently on the road even when walking on a carpet. Can't believe I traded my Nike Vomero for these.

I ran through several pairs of 7s and looked forward to these. Talk about disappointment, I have less than 100 K. on them and have packed them away. They are heavy with poor coushining , my shins kill me after a short 10K run...bring back the 7s
