I've been running in my Alchemy 7s for two months now and so far, they're great. The fit is great for me - I have slightly flat feet in need of a wider toebox (narrow heel, though.) Also like how light they feel. Definitely order a 1/2 to a full size up.

The reviewers who are saying the shoe is a poor departure from all of the other Wave Alchemys are spot on. I've been running in Wave Alchemys for about six years and have tolerated each "update." But this one is intolerable. The Alchemy has been my haven from injury, but this new one seems to be agg...

I wanted Alchemy 6 wearers to know that I tried the Brooks Trance/women's and it is a wonderful shoe! I miss my Alchemy's, but the Brooks Trance does a great job replacing them.

Great for Wide Flat Feet. The wider toe box is a nice revision. My dress shoe size is 7 1/2 and I ordered 8 for these. Fit perfectly. Definitely will buy another.

New to Mizuno, I invested in the Alc-7. I needed a stable, ankle supportive shoe with wide toe box and this shoe fits. It's light, supports my weak ankle, while giving room for my toes. All day comfort, very nice :)

I used to wear the Addiction and got this as it was lighter (and looked better, sorry!). My husband was a fan of the Alchemy 6 and said I should try Mizuno if I wanted a lighter shoe, so here I am and loving it. For the anonymous person below, he said that the Alchemy 7 is more stable than the Alc...

I love this shoe! I honestly don't agree that it is worse than the 6. There is great support and very light. A great shoe to train in.

Ok! You all were right, I should have listened. I was the last to review this shoe. I wrote a few days after buying it. I am sorry to say that I have to shop for a new love. After having the 7 for a few weeks I developed heel pain. I thought I needed more padding so I bought insoles. Then I be...

I have worn the Alchemy for years and have always loved this shoe. I feel the same for the 7. Yes the shoe has changed over the years. Show me a shoe that hasn't. I do not know what all the fuss is about. I have a narrow foot and still buy the reg and the toebox is fine. Look at your box and s...

If I could have given a negative star I would have. Listen to the bad reviews. This is the worst change I've seen in a shoe. If you were a fan of the alchemy 6 (which I adored and the models before that) BEWARE the 7's are not the same. The support is missing, the toe box is too wide, they are clunk...

I've been running in the Alchemy for five years and continue to be impressed with this shoe. The Alchemy is a great shoe for high milage runners with the need for stability.

I have been wearing the Wave Alchemy for years and loved the 5 the best. I endured the 6 because it wasn't too different. The 7? I cannot stand it. The toebox is too wide and the overall feel is that the shoe is chunky and clunky. My body doesn't like the fit at all - and now I have a groin pul...

Loved the Alc 5 and 6's. Can't stand the 7's. The forefoot is too big, and the shoe is too clunky

I have been wearing Alchemy's for years because I have narrow feet and they have widened the shoe, so they are no longer wearable for me. What a shame!!!

I agree with everyone else that there are too many differences b/w the 6s and 7s. I loved the 6s - perfect support, nice fit and lightweight. The 7s are heavier and do not have nearly the same support. The only upside is that the 7s are a little wider (I used to have to buy the 6s in wides). If ...

I love my alchemy 6, perfect arch support , just a great pair of running shoes. (much better than the Nikes I was used to). I bought the alchemy 7, did a few shorter 6-7 mile runs and thought they were okay. I did a 22 mile this weekend and I have 2 bruised big toes. Back to surfing for a pair o...

I LOVED the Alchemy 6!!! I literally can't wear the Alchemy 7. Every time I run in the Alchemy 7, my knee kills me (Iliotibial Band). I switched back to my Alchemy 6's and no more knee pain. There were too many changes from 6 to 7; my body didn't like the changes.

I really like this shoe. I used to wear Saucony and this feels like a huge step up. Light weight and good support. I paired these with SuperFeet and the arch support is excellent. I never wore the Alchemy 6 so I don't know how it compares...

I wore the Alchemy 6 and loved it but I don't like the changes to this one. The toe box is too wide and it feels clunky to run in. Also, it doesn't have the arch support like the Alchemy 6. Why do shoe companies always have to drastically change shoes?
