I also feel that the arch support in this shoe is lacking, especially in a shoe that was designated as having excellent arch support. I have had plantar faschia problems for years and cannot wear this shoe for my 10k's unless I add an arch support. 8.3 ounces is great, but that goes out the window when I have to add this arch support myself. Overall the shoe is pretty good for racing and does not break down as quickly as adidas adizero's i have had in the past.

I love this shoe! It was light weight but also provided the support I needed.

I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Precision's for several years now. I have a VERY high arch and the Mizuno Wave Prescision has done the best job supporting my foot. However, it seems the more advanced the shoe number becomes (Wave Precsion 4,or 5 or 6...) the less arch support. Anybody else notice this? Therefore I give this shoe 4 stars. I hope Mizuno will correct this problem. Other than that, these shoes work great. I am a speed walker with an occassional jog, not a runner. I will continue to purchase this shoe unless the arch support continues to dwindle.

My favorite shoes for awhile now. I just like them because they're light and don't have too many extras. I still liked the older versions better since they seemed like they had less cushion and extra fluff/padding on the upper, but these are still pretty good. I like that they last a long time too, much longer than any other shoes I've bought.

These are fantastic shoes! They don't have as much cushion as your standard trainer - but since I get forefoot pain from too much forefoot cushion, this was ideal. I also like the nice low collar at the ankle. I was worried about them being too narrow for my wide feet and long toes, but just used open lacing over the forefoot, and they fit fine. I plan to buy several more pairs!

I'm a girl, so first things first- the shoes are cute. I've gotten many compliments on them.
And now, the important stuff- I fell in love with running when I was wearing Asics Kayano XIIs. I couldn't find another shoe to match the perfect fit of my Kayanos until a running partner of mine told me she had those exact same shoes and interchanges them regularly with these Mizunos no problem. I was desperate for a new pair of shoes so I tried them. Sure enough- they work like a charm for me. They aren't as cushiony and as glove fitting as my Asics, but they are a good replacement. Particularly since they don't make Kayano XIIs anymore.
Definitely DO size a half size up. The toe box is more than enough for my narrow feet. I'm a believer in Mizuno now.

I've never bothered to rate a shoe before, but this shoe compelled me to do so. It's simply awesome! Like stepping on a soft cloud. Fits like a glove. Nice, smooth ride. I would recommend a full size up. I wear a 7.5 to 8.0 street shoe, and these Mizunos are a 9.0 and are a perfect fit.

I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be with the fit. They seem too loose around the perimeter and don't provide as much cushion as I expected. Also, they seem to roll my foot to the outside.
