best shoe ever. 160lbs 39 yrs old. ran 4 miles out of the box and 12 miles as my longest run building up for disney marathon in january. feels like a mold was built for my foot with this shoe. heel support, midfoot and front felt very comfortable.

I have had all stablity/guidance shoes...Some worked better some got me into real trouble. I was running in Adrenalines, Kayanos, new adrenalines (with this terrible MOGO stuff), 2100,,,,but this is so far the best shoe for what I need it for. Wonderfull cushioning without sacrifising stability. I d...

These are terrific - light, stable, and now much better-fitting. I've usd them for tempo runs, as well as my long runs, and have no complaints whatsoever.

Fri, April 25,2008:
I have run on the inspire 2/3 and the 4 has much bigger toe and runs hard. I ran on the inspire 2 and 3 for previous marathon. I loved them. The four is much less comfortable due to extra room at the toe. Hurt my feet. Returned both pairs I had bought

Wed, April 09,2008:
My previous 2 shoes were Asics 1110 and Sacouny Omni 6 moderate. In comparison, this shoe's cushioning is appreciably less and the heel fit was the least snug. The tongue is also very short thinly padded. On the plus side, the shoe is the lightest and heel to toe transition is the best. There is as...

weigh 220 and 6ft 2in tall. nice shoe, cushioned supportive. wear size 12 brooks, assics, saucony. Had to go up half size with this shoe. Felt a little too big. If Mizuno can get the fit right this would be a great shoe.

Thu, March 27,2008:
I'm just getting into running at age 39. I've always had bad knees and the pain of running kept me out of the sport as a youth. I never knew I was a pronator, and these provide great stability for me. I'm 6'2" and 190#, but I have relatively thin feet- these fit me like a glove- so I could see th...

Wed, February 27,2008:
I have worn the inspire 2 and inspire 3. This is a great update! At the first few miles the shoe felt firm, but as i continued on my 7 mile run, the great Mizuno ride gave me that excellant heel to toe transition. At the end of my second run, i was happy with the cushioning, new technology and overa...

Tue, February 26,2008:
I've owned 2 pairs of the Inspire 3, and put about 800 miles between them. I ran about 40 miles in these, and had to shelf them. The heel is much harder, and these shoes make me over pronate pretty bad. I developed runners knee (patella femoral syndrome) after training in these. I've never had any k...

Wed, February 20,2008:
The fit has changed from the Inspire 3. The heel fits higher and snugger, and the forefoot has less volume than the past. The heel to toe transition (flexibility) is stiffer than the past. I can't seem to get used to the ride of this new shoe as it's a rather big change over the last model being ...

Wed, February 06,2008:
Very disappointed. I felt like these forced me onto my heels and also "slapped" down my one foot hard. I can definitely see people getting shin splints in these.

Sun, January 27,2008:
Similar to first reviewer. I'm a moderate over pronator and after a few days of running on these, I had pain in my shin and knee. It's also a narrow shoe. My stats - 5'8" 145, medium arches. I went back to NB.

Mon, January 21,2008:
Slightly narrower in the forefoot (good for me) than the prior model. Just the right amount of medial support ans still a good cushioned feel overall. Neutral arch and good alternative to the Rider 11.

Wed, January 16,2008:
I have chondromalacia(a knee condition), and I look for stability shoes to help correct the way I run which in turn helps my knees. On my first run(about 3.2 miles on a dirt path) it was about halfway through that I started to feel alot of pain in my ankles. At the end of the run, my knees weren't f...
