Mon, October 27,2008:
These shoes are great - they are extremely lightweight and comfortable. I do often end up with arch pain in one foot, but I think that's my own personal problem. Otherwise, they are great shoes. I had to order a full size up in these (I am typically a size 6, but I had to order a size 7). Great shoe...

I picked up these shoes after an in-store running evaluation and they are great! However, I'm on my second pair since they definitely wear out significantly quicker than my previous Nike and NB shoes. I like the little suction cup treads. Great shoe for everything from a track workout to a marathon.

I run about 55 MPW and loooooved the Elixir 2, but only like the Elixir 3. The main difference for me is the arch. It is now slightly higher and positioned farther back. The good news is that it's till a light and fast shoe, but if you have a low arch, you will definitely feel them with every ste...

An awesome shoe - 90mins first run - very comfortable and so lightweight. I also found that they have just the right amount of support - I am a forefoot pronator and this shoe works!

Fri, June 06,2008:
I bought new pair of running shoes and immediately had knee and ankle pain. I decided it was time to have a pair of running shoes fitted for the way I walk and run. Immediately when I put these on I felt so much comfort and my foot feels completely balanced when I run. I have been able to run fas...

I've been wearing the same shoe since Mavericks were converted to the Elixir. The Elixir and Elixir 2 were fantastic, but the Elixir 3 feels like I'm running on flat tires. I have ankle and knee problems when I run with these shoes. When I put my old Elixir 2's on to run, with over 400 miles on t...

Loved these when I first got them, but now... After 2 months and only 224 miles, they have completely broken down. The tread is GONE, my IT band hurts. Why did you change them? My old shoes have 500 miles are are still great.

These are even better than the Wave Elixir 2. Great support, lightweight, excellent for longer runs. Best running shoes I've ever worn.

This is a great shoe. It fits my foot like a glove and the more I wear them the more it molds to my feet and super light and great support for my feet. The suction cup bottom does wear down after a few miles and does not "stick" to the pavement as much as when they are new.

They feel good at first, but trashed my hamstrings after a 10 mile run. Not much support and a lot of ground slapping. Returning these after only wearing them twice.

Ouch! No support. Very flimsy and the weird sound they make while the little suction cups adhere to the floor is annoying! My right foot was sore after running 8 miles. Good for people with perfect running mechanics I guess. Probably a racing only shoe.
