great shoe right out of the box. a 5'8 140lb runner here, good for quick runs, toe box has slightly less than desirable cushion for longer runs. overall a nice light weight shoe that make me want to run hard.

I am a Track runner at Eisenhower, as a distance runner I'm am racking miles up every week. This shoe is a love note to my feet. Great improvement from later Elixir Models with more cushioning and ankle support. Digging the colors!

I bought this shoe to serve the role of a lighter weight training shoe to compliment my Wave Inspires. It fills that role perfectly. My experience with Mizuno shoes as a whole is that they move with my foot really well (all the mesh maybe?) and this is no exception....

This is a great shoe. After owning the v1 and v2 Elixir, the v3 has better heel fit and more length at the toes. Good grip sole (it's not too noisy or slippery). I wanted to try another brand, but forget it. Try the Asics DS-13 "Wonderbread" or the

I am a diehard Elixer user and when i saw the E3 it had changed from a hybrid stability shoe to a lightweight trainer, so at 170 ibs i was cocerned.Did a PR HALF in them 2 Sundays ago and a 29k run this past Sunday and they were awesome-i can breath easier now.

Great light weight trainer----Bought this shoe for races-- 5k to Marathon. Its perfect. Will not run daily especially distance---but for what its intended its awesome.

Remember this shoe is categorized in the performance stability class, so it is _suppose_ to be for low to medium arches and small to medium body frame. I agree with CBGB. For me, this shoe fits like a glove, and is comfortable and responsive in a lightweight package. No boxiness here. Your body wants to run up tempo in this shoe.

Simply not a fan. Was very much looking forward to this update but what a disappointment. Arch is odd. No smooth transition, feels cheap and “plasticy.” No forefoot cushion as before. Thank goodness for the Asics DST 13!

Agree that this shoe is much different in terms of both ride and fit in comparison to the Elixir 1 and 2. How does it differ? The fit is narrower both in the heel and the forefoot. This is NOT the same show as the Elixir 1 and 2. It fits a bit narrow, which may not be a problem, but more importantly this show now has a higher arch support.
